Edward
I shifted in the seat of my Ferrari feeling a bit agitated to have been waiting for so long. If there was anything I hated more than Connor at the moment it was someone who was incapable of keeping time. How difficult was it to make sure you were on time for an appiontment? Clearly only someone incompetent could be half an hour late to a multi-million contract.
Maybe money flew easily in Los Angeles that they didn't care. However the Chernyshevsky-Coleman money was the biggest contract yet and only a fool could give that up.
I was almost tempted to leave completely, not bothering to set foot into my own gym. It was six in the afternoon and I had a lot of better things to be doing than waiting around for someone who wasn't about to show up.
With a growl I started up the engine just as a black large Chevrolet SUV parked next to me. Clearly it must have been my appointment because whoever was inside waved at me whilst I just stared.
