Okay, maybe I was rustier than I thought as I sat opposite Harper in the restaurant on a quiet booth towards the back making the atmosphere feel a lot more personal than just a simple business dinner. It wasn't a business dinner. It was an adament way of me trying to get over Connor, Harper was beautiful, a sight for sore eyes and if I couldn't make something work out of this then I would know that Connor had ruined me for anyone else.
If Demyan, who lived and breathed Ethan was able to get over him, move on, have children and even get married without uttering Ethan's name then I knew there was hope for me. If he could do it then anyone could. I was young and I wasn't going to let Connor hold me back for the rest of my life. I needed to move on.
