Chapter 451 - 451: Bang! Bang! Bang!

In an instant, an obsidian wall completely sealed the hole Voldemort had blasted open.

"Professor... are we going to die?" Liam swallowed and asked.

"No," Kasen said firmly.

Then he vanished from the spot.

"Where did he go? Did he abandon us?" a clerk clutching a stack of documents and preparing to flee asked in surprise.

But a thunderous crash quickly silenced that doubt.

With a tremendous bang, the one-metre-thick obsidian wall shook violently. Cracks spread across the entire slab in the shape of a human body, and the last thing to break through was Voldemort's head.

The guards holding guns immediately aimed at Voldemort's shiny little head.

A barrage of gunfire erupted.

Whatever outrageous magical modifications Voldemort had made to his skull, it somehow endured the concentrated firepower that would have turned a normal person into SpongeBob.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Voldemort threw back his head and unleashed a deafening scream.

The sound carried a trace of soul-shaking power, leaving half the people in the building dizzy and disoriented. Several with weaker constitutions were knocked unconscious outright.

Kasen wasted no time.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three more farmer's punches.

Then he grabbed Voldemort and yanked him straight out of the obsidian wall.

Everyone in the office watched as Kasen held Voldemort in one hand and unleashed another round of punches and kicks before finally tearing him apart through the middle into the shape of the University emblem.

"Tell Torchwood to stop looking for aliens or researching superheroes. We've already found Superman," a scientist who had witnessed everything from beginning to end said to Mr Cade with a stunned expression.

As the saying went, amateurs watched the spectacle, while experts watched divine techniques.

Voldemort had smashed a hole through a one-metre-thick obsidian wall, then endured enough concentrated gunfire to mass-produce SpongeBob with nothing more than superficial injuries.

And Kasen had just torn him in half with his bare hands.

"He's basically Superman."

"Is it over?" Dumbledore asked as he precisely killed the final Death Eater, then appeared beside Kasen.

"It's strange. This Voldemort was completely genuine, but for some reason, he felt weaker," Kasen said with a frown.

"Back to Hogwarts, then?"

Dumbledore's expression changed instantly.

"I'll return to Hogwarts. You stay here and continue protecting the Prime Minister."

The moment he finished speaking, Dumbledore Disapparated, leaving Kasen standing there alone.

"I feel like that should've been the other way around," Kasen complained.

But he did not say anything more.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald were both at Hogwarts. No matter what happened, things should not get too far out of control.

At this point, all that remained was to use a Potion of Regeneration to treat the ordinary people who had been injured by Voldemort's soul-shaking scream.

Once everything had settled down, Kasen dismantled the obsidian wall and used materials to restore the section of wall Voldemort had blasted apart.

"Excellent craftsmanship. Shame you're a professor now. To be honest, before you became a professor at that school, I kept your number the whole time. I was planning to ask you to renovate my new home after I retired," the Prime Minister said, emerging from the innermost office with lingering fear on his face.

"It's the skill I used to make a living, after all. Can't afford to forget it," Kasen said with a shrug.

"Would you mind having a talk with me, Professor? Liam, you come too. I need to understand exactly what happened tonight," the Prime Minister said wearily.

"Of course."

Kasen walked into the office without objection.

The Prime Minister and Kasen sat opposite each other, while several of the Prime Minister's wizarding aides sat on the sofas in the corner.

"It seems I really should learn more about what's happening in the wizarding world. Before this, all I knew was that Voldem... never mind. I don't have your kind of power, so let's just say You-Know-Who. I knew he had returned, but I thought he was being steadily pushed back by Hogwarts and the Ministry. Why would he suddenly attack me?" the Prime Minister asked quietly.

"It might have been a diversion. But even if it wasn't, killing you would still be worthwhile to Voldemort. That's simply the kind of person he is. He hates ordinary humans. In fact, you could say he hates all humans. In his eyes, only the small number of people who agree with him and possess what he considers pure blood are even qualified to become his slaves," Kasen explained.

"Maybe he wanted to kill all of us and frame ordinary wizards for it. Then the Muggle and wizarding worlds would start fighting each other while he sat back and profited?" Arthur suggested.

"That plan would be rather pointless. If that were the case, why would he put the Dark Mark in the sky?"

"Wouldn't it be easier to simply rush in and kill us all without warning?"

Arthur shrugged indifferently. "All right, all right. I'm never right about this sort of thing anyway."

"So You-Know-Who failed this time, correct?" the Prime Minister continued, ignoring their banter.

"At least he failed here. The anti-Apparition protections around this place are a bit weak and don't cover a large enough area."

Kasen reached into his pocket and took out a Charged Ender Pearl.

"With this, the space across dozens of nearby blocks will be sealed. If Voldemort wants to launch another surprise attack like this, he'll have to walk in step by step, fly on a broomstick, use a flying spell, or something similar. That should give you more time to prepare."

Kasen placed it directly in the office.

"You're leaving already?" Liam asked.

"Obviously. If this place was bait for a diversion, then the real target is most likely Hogwarts. I've already been extremely responsible by staying here and talking to you for five minutes."

The moment Kasen finished speaking, he disappeared, leaving behind only slowly fading motes of purple light.

"He left?" The Prime Minister looked at the place where Kasen had vanished, then at the Charged Ender Pearl sitting on his desk. "Didn't he say this thing seals space?"

"Professor Kasen made it, so naturally it won't restrict Professor Kasen himself. Besides, that makes it easier for him to come back and rescue us if necessary," Arthur explained.

Knock, knock, knock...

"Where's Professor Kasen? I brought my whole team specifically to give him a physical examination. Heh heh heh..."

The scientist who had previously exclaimed that Kasen was practically Superman appeared with his entire team, grinning excitedly.

"Unfortunately, he just left. If you'd arrived... ten seconds earlier, you might at least have seen the purple lights he left behind."
