"I only said that you all have a lot of work to put in. I didn't necessarily say you were weak," Grey interrupted, then sipped his tea one more time.
He took a moment to quickly glance around the room, meeting the eyes of every person at the table.
"If you were truly weak, it would have been utterly impossible to shed my blood. You all have grown immensely.
You even managed to throw me around a few times—whack me out of the air, make me bleed, and make me tumble across the dirt.
Especially you, Scarlet; your combat prowess has grown significantly, and as a unit, you all dealt quite the substantial amount of damage to me."
He paused for a moment, licking his dry lips as he considered his next words.
"If you had faced someone else who isn't me, you guys would have won no diff. And do you know why you would have emerged victorious?"
