The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

Grey found out not only will he wield magic, he would come to become the strongest mage in existence with five affinities.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

"Ah…. Feels good to be back here." Grey heaved a heavy sigh as he looked at his friends.


Kael walked forward, and soon enough, he stood directly before the mage.


"But how are you even still alive? The Otherworlders confirmed you were dead."


Before Grey could open his mouth to explain—


"... He is the one and only Supreme Magus. How do you expect those fools to be able to touch him?"


They all turned around to see Amir walking toward them with a beaming smile on his face.


"Captain?!" they all shouted in unison. "What are you doing here?!"


Kael's eyes lit up instantly in realization as he pieced the puzzle together.


"Oh. This was all your doing? The evacuation of the civilians, the 'mission'—and specifically asking us to go for this assignment despite knowing that it's been a while since they all fought as one. You orchestrated this? So you knew Grey was back?"


"The first to know," Amir replied with a wide smile before pointing at the mage.
