[3rd POV]
With Aphrodite officially leaving the Greek Pantheon, and joining the Heavenly Demonic Faction, Morgan knew it was only a matter of time before the Gods started to try something. They undoubtedly already knew about the fact that she was not back yet, and had likely realized that something was wrong in regards to Aphrodite and her not returning.
What they did not know is whether or not Aphrodite was being held against her will, or was willingly still in Kuoh with Morgan, not leaving back to Olympus where Ares had appeared.
Morgan decided to take a few precautions just in case the idiots tried something against her territories. Like trying to attack the real world parts of Japan. This would likely come in the form of natural disasters. So things like tsunami's, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and stuff like that would all naturally be what they sent towards her lands.
America was the second target, since she was the dominant force in the US and Canada, as well as several South American countries that were without proper Gods that had them under their control. The idea of attacking any of those countries was...not exactly a good one.
In the real world, the countries that these Gods had under their control were vastly weaker than the ones she held. As she had dominance over the US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, China, Germany, Russia, and pretty much every major power in the world.
So that meant they could not attempt to start a war in the real world side of things, and that meant there would be no World War 3 that they could try to use to weaken her side of things. And even if they did start World War 3, it would be so one sided that the fight would simply not be fair to them, nor would it be possible to even win in the first place.
Morgan just didn't see any way that the Greek Gods could do anything against her. The only chance was the other Gods allying with them, and well...that would not work out well.
The precautions that she had decided to take in her territories, were massive wards that would coat the entire country. These wards made it impossible for another God to stretch their divinity into the territory. They would not be able to infect and affect the mortals inside of the country.
The mortals were far and away the easiest target inside of the countries she was the God of, and by infecting them, they would be able to find a relatively easy way to tear them apart from the inside. That way they would not even need to start a world war, and instead would just have to cause civil wars.
Now that would not happen, as they wouldn't be able to do anything no matter how hard they had tried. Not only that, but she had warded the countries to get rid of any unnatural disasters that could be caused by a God or Goddess. The only ones that will occur are the natural ones that need to happen to keep the balance of nature.
The damages that would be caused by the natural disasters would be tiny in comparison to the unnatural ones that would be caused by the arrogant Gods that can't handle the fact that her faction was the most powerful faction in the entire world. She didn't understand what the problem was with her faction, it was strong, it was powerful, sure, but it was not intruding into their territories or anything.
She had not touched the other pantheons beyond Hades, who deserved death for harming a member of her pantheon. And if Aphrodite wished to join her faction, then what right did Zeus and the others have to stop her?
Same with Hephaestus, if he decided to join her as well. She didn't mind the idea, as he would be a great addition to the faction, and could massively improve their forging capacities. Hell, the man could even help her in her development of weaponry, and even teach her some new techniques that not even she knew. That could be hugely useful against Trihexa, well...hopefully.
After warding her countries from the gods, where they would not be able to affect her in the least, she decided to have another conversation with Aphrodite, who had adapted well to her new surroundings in Kuoh.
Which is what she was doing at the moment, sipping on a morning cup of coffee as a confused Aphrodite was sitting across from her. She had been sitting in her new bed room a bit ago, watching a romance sitcom, sobbing as the main character broke up with her boyfriend (even though they were perfect together!). And the next she was being asked to talk by Morgan.
"So um...what is this about?" Aphrodite asked, watching the woman that was basically her new King sip on her morning coffee.
"Your family" Morgan responded as she took a sip. Aphrodite blinked at the response, before tilting her head.
"What did they do?" Aphrodite asked, a little worried that they did something stupid. She might not like them, but there were still some Gods in that pantheon that she did not mind. Not to mention all of the innocent Demigods that would almost certainly get harmed in the crossfire should they do something stupid.
"Nothing...yet. But I am actually here to ask if you have any idea what they are planning. I know for a fact that Zeus is going to try something against me, that much is obvious. I killed his brother, and have far overtaken his pantheon. It's only natural" Morgan responded, as Aphrodite stared for a few moments as she sat silently in thought.
She was contemplating if there was any information that she had.
"Like if they are allying with any other pantheons" Morgan added, seeing that Aphrodite was struggling to come up with anything. Hearing this, Aphrodite's eyes widened as she nodded rapidly.
"They are! I know for a fact that Zeus had been in talks with our counterparts in Rome. Something about allying against a common enemy or something. He had also sent Athena to Egypt for some reason. While sending Ares to meet the Celtics, and Apollo had gone to speak with the Persian Gods" Aphrodite exclaimed, remembering that they had been doing some big movements a few days before.
And now it was clear that they were working to ally with those other pantheons, in order to work together to try and take hers down. Even though there was far more important things to do.
"And the Hindu?" Morgan asked, as the Hindu Gods were far and away the most important ones to know about. They had a shit ton of Gods in their pantheon, and the peak of their pantheon was far higher than the peak of any other pantheon besides Morgan's own faction.
"Not that I know about. But if they did speak with the Hindu Gods, they probably kept it quiet. As those Gods are not exactly fond of Zeus and the rest of the Greek Pantheon. They likely had kept it quiet, and had met in silence somewhere on Earth without anyone even knowing that they had met" Aphrodite responded, truly not certain if they did, but it was very likely that they had.
"Hmm, I expected that much. The Hindu Gods aren't really the biggest threat in the world or anything, they would just be the most annoying in the group to deal with. Shiva is the third strongest God in the world, if we are not counting the Dragons" Morgan responded, with Aphrodite still not knowing about Ophis being her mate, and Ophis being an official part of their faction.
She was well known as the cuddly Dragon God that insisted on sitting in Morgan's lap all the time, even when she had a meeting with others or something.
Aphrodite would find out eventually, but not yet.
"I still can't get over the fact that you look at the Hindu gods as nothing more than an annoyance. I don't think there is a single other being that can do that, besides the Dragon Gods" Aphrodite said with a shake of her head at the absurdity of Morgan and how she acted.
"Yeah well I'm just better than them" Morgan replied with a shrug, as she inwardly decided to start making a few plans for the factions that were going to try and work against her.
She had a lot of ideas, she just needed to go through with them.
With her questions answered, Morgan decided it was time to make some breakfast, as she got to her feet, and began to whip something up while asking Aphrodite if she wanted anything. She did.
And soon, she started to cook, all the while, she had one thought on her mind.
