Isolde tried her best to suppress her emotions as she made her way quietly across the hall. She had just parted with her friends moments ago. Just like Blaize, she had left Selene at her own doorstep, handed her the scrolls, exchanged hugs and giggles before dispersing.
And now, the events of the day seemed to be replaying endlessly and seamlessly in her head.
