Chapter 355 - Chapter 348: I Haven't Even Gotten On Yet!

Kika scanned the energy reactions deep beneath the sea using Sabayon. Looking at the feedback on the signal, it showed a marked biological signal.

Kika was a bit confused. What did this mean? The creature causing a commotion at the bottom of the sea was someone she knew?

After comparison and screening to identify whose signal it was, Kika's face immediately darkened.

"I think I know what's going on. Durandal, cover me. Something might rush up later."

"Okay."

Durandal flew to Kika's side, ready. The Hel in her hand had already begun to charge. As soon as the thing in the sea came out, Durandal would lunge at it.

"And they sent me out for this. That bastard Ryn's bastard Honkai Beast!"

Kika pulled the trigger, firing an energy beam at Kukulkan at the bottom of the sea.

Kukulkan and Maheśvara, who were bragging to each other, were startled by the energy beam. The two Honkai Beasts dug holes at lightning speed and hid underground.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been bragging, I was wrong, I was wrong. It was all fake, none of that stuff about beating the Herrscher of Finality ever happened, I was actually one-shotted…"

"My mission is still ongoing, don't kill me! It was just a bit of bragging, really, it's not worth it, it's not worth it!"

The two beasts kowtowed and apologized frantically, shouting for mercy, but after waiting for a while, they neither saw nor felt the presence of the Herrscher of Finality.

Three minutes later, the two beasts crawled out of their holes, butts in the air. Kukulkan and Maheśvara looked at each other.

"Ahem, you didn't hear anything just now."

"Heh, is that all you've got."

Maheśvara laughed mockingly. Just as it expected, Kukulkan was just a little snake that had been hiding in some corner.

It seemed that it was still the stronger one. Anyway, it had never actually fought the Herrscher of Finality, so it could just go around telling people it was a 50/50 match, either she won or it won~

"What are you laughing at."

Kukulkan slammed its tail into Maheśvara's face, smashing it into the earth's crust.

"I was just bragging with you to be nice, and you're actually putting on airs with me."

Kukulkan turned and swam towards the surface. It had been scared earlier and didn't feel it carefully, but now that it thought about it, wasn't that light beam the same as the attack from that girl who had opened fire on it last time?

It seemed that the commotion it caused had attracted the attention of the world. It had to run away quickly, otherwise it would be in trouble if it got caught.

*Bang—*

Maheśvara burst out of the magma, its body covered in red marks from the burns.

Under the cooling of the sea water, Maheśvara healed at high speed, shedding its burnt skin.

Its new skin was no longer dark and weathered like before.

Maheśvara looked at Kukulkan swimming upwards in the distance with blazing anger. It rushed forward and bit its tail, trying to drag it back.

Kukulkan's upper body was rushing upwards, while its lower body was being held tightly by Maheśvara. Its entire body was stretched into a long vertical line at the bottom of the sea.

But Kukulkan couldn't be bothered with Maheśvara. It couldn't break its defense anyway, and its bites were like tickles.

So Kukulkan directly dragged the huge Maheśvara behind it and rushed towards the surface.

"Something's wrong, you've been hiding your strength!"

When Maheśvara realized it couldn't pull Kukulkan back and was instead being dragged along, it let go and tried to return to the seabed.

"Don't you want a ride? Why are you going back?"

Kukulkan wrapped its tail around Maheśvara and dragged it upwards.

Maheśvara struggled desperately, but found that it couldn't break free no matter what.

After a while, Kukulkan had brought Maheśvara close to the surface.

Maheśvara had to quickly shrink its body to avoid attracting the attention of the world with its huge size.

But no matter how small it became, it still couldn't escape Kukulkan's restraint.

*Splash—*

Kukulkan burst out of the sea, only to be hit head-on by Durandal, who had turned into a meteor.

Kukulkan looked down at the little girl who had rushed up into its arms, a little confused.

"Is the welcome ceremony always this grand?"

Looking at the 300-meter-tall behemoth that blotted out the sun, Durandal was stunned for a moment.

"You are… Kukulkan?!"

"Oh? You know me? That makes things easier."

Kukulkan also shrank its body, turning into a 30-centimeter-long snake and floating in front of Durandal.

And next to Kukulkan, there was a small, palm-sized pink manta ray…

Maheśvara wanted to escape, but Kukulkan held it tight, preventing it from leaving.

Just as Kukulkan was about to chat with Durandal about the situation, it glanced at Kika on the side and immediately floated over happily.

"Sister-in-law, sister-in-law, what do you need me for?"

Kika, who was a little angry about being sent out on this wild goose chase, immediately beamed with joy when she heard what Kukulkan called her.

Kika patted Kukulkan's head and said with a smile, "It's nothing, you're probably just going to get a beating. The commotion you two caused in the sea triggered a huge tsunami, which affected some of the coastal areas. Although there were not many casualties in the coastal areas, some of the nearby islands are in trouble…"

"Hehe, there's nothing I can do about that…"

Kukulkan awkwardly flicked its tail, making Maheśvara stumble.

Kukulkan had thought it had run into a perverted Honkai Beast, and Maheśvara was also angry about having its sleep disturbed, so the two of them had a fight at the bottom of the sea.

Kukulkan held back, which led Maheśvara to think it was only slightly inferior, and then there was no 'then.'

Kika pursed her lips and said nonchalantly, "Tsk, forget it. Since it's a misunderstanding, let's just dismiss and go home. The rest can be handled by the Schicksal personnel.

I heard Ryn say he was making an octopus feast tonight. I thought I wouldn't get to have any, but it looks like I can still make it."

"Hehe, sister-in-law, I'll give you a ride. I fly fast."

Kukulkan enlarged its body to make it easier for Kika to ride, then coiled around Maheśvara and flew towards St. Freya High School.

Durandal, left behind, blinked her big eyes, full of confusion.

"It's over just like that? It's done? You're leaving? I haven't even gotten on yet!"

Night had fallen at St. Freya High School.

By the time Kika got home, the banquet was long over, and everyone had already gone to bed.

Kika went to the dining table and found that there was still an octopus feast that Ryn had specially made for her.

Each dish was kept warm by a small black hole that Ryn used to slow down time, ensuring that what Kika ate was just as hot as what they had for dinner.

"Hmph, you do have some conscience~"

Kika happily ate every octopus dish.

After finishing, Kika threw the dishes aside, leaving them for Mei to clean up tomorrow.

Then she happily ran towards Mei's room. Mei wants to sleep soundly? Not a chance!

*Slam—*

Kika pushed open the door to Mei's room and jumped onto her bed.

"Huh? Where's Mei? What is she doing up so late instead of sleeping?"

Meanwhile, at Ryn's house.

Kallen and Yae Sakura lay on the bed with dark circles under their eyes. The commotion from Ryn's room made it impossible for them to get a good night's sleep.

"Sakura, should we find a time to move out?"

"Kallen, let's just bear with it… We're almost out of money to even pay for your food."
