A bit later, Basilio and his siblings bought some bread and pastries, as well as apples, cheeses, and a few bananas, and they were about to proceed to shop for anything that could be considered souvenirs from Kamal when a familiar voice called out to them, "There you are!"
It was an angry one, and they were familiar with it and were annoyed of it.
That one was of Romana, who had been searching for them and the others with a squad of city guards.
The reason is that she had reported all of their offenses to her monarch, Terzo Olsen of the prestigious Olsen Family.
Terzo, who had high hopes of a trade partnership with Ruslav, was distraught when a letter from Ruslav's leader came and said that he would be cancelling it.
For him, it would be a disaster and an opportunity wasted.
This was the reason why Romana was there with a squad of city guards: to confront Basilio and his group about it.
At the same time, Basilio's Vamzom guard had returned to him with his task done and was with the others outside of Zemelja's walled city. And then, Basilio and his older siblings turned around, only to be taken aback by the presence of Romana and the squad.
"You again?" Ormoc commented to Romana.
"What do you want from us now?" Basilio added in mild annoyance.
"My Highness was deeply upset by what you had decided on that trade partnership, you dumb idiot!" Romana responded while being angry and upset.
"So what?" Basilio replied while being uninterested at her statement.
Romana and some in her squad were upset at his tone.
"Please leave us alone, ma'am," Paulina responded. "You didn't even apologized to Tej as well."
"At least you apologize to him!" Ormoc added strongly, his bravery heightened from the level from his first encounter with Romana.
Romana was more and more pissed off.
It was decided by the three Otherworlders that they are not worth their time to argue about in a place like this and left off to the southeastern area from Zemelja's walled area.
And so, the confrontation was cancelled off and never happen thanks to the wise decision of Basilio and his older siblings. Romana and her squad were unhappy at this. Now, a bit later, in the southeastern area, while all of them had their snack break, Ormoc and Basilio shared what had happened in their shopping at the markets. Tej was stunned, while Benjamín and Katsuko were amazed.
"Woah…" Tej commented.
"Yup," Paulina replied while munching on her piece of quezo cheese.
"It's not worth our time," Ormoc added.
"Oh…" Tej responded, before thinking of a few new opportunities outside of Kamal.
One of them is going to Ruslav for these new opportunities in life.
So, he said to Basilio and others, "Hey, guys, I was thinking about something…" Basilio then looked at him. "What is it?"
"I want to go to Ruslav with you guys."
Basilio and a couple of others were taken aback by it.
"You want to go to Ruslav?" Kahraman asked.
"Woah, really?" Artem added.
"Are you serious?" Chivo added as well.
Tej then nodded. "Yes, I think of good opportunities outside of Kamal."
Because of that, Basilio and the others began to consider about it.
Basilio then began to think of issuing a healer's license for Tej under Ruslav's jurisdiction and goes with it.
And so, they agreed, only if Tej would have permission from his older cousin. Tej complied and hurriedly went to Nathan's house for that permission. A few minutes ago, Tej came back with consent and permission, and all is good for him and the others. Romana and those who belittle Tej for his lowly status didn't know this, and there was a chance that they may know this.
Nevertheless, Basilio and his group, including Tej, left off back to the mainland via a ferry to Metalnem. Tej was excited and was looking forward for better things and opportunities in Ruslav, and maybe, the rest of the mainland Central Continent. It was before 5 p.m. this afternoon that this happened and that the trip had ended. And then, by 9:25 p.m., all of them arrived in Metalnem's big harbor, and they grabbed their belongings and got off the ferry, before flying to Nuevo Tacloban by helicopters of Ruslav. Tej was getting more excited to set foot in Nuevo Tacloban.
