About fifteen minutes before the event began, a maid knocked on the door. "Miss Ella, Mr. Peter has arrived. Madam wants you to come out and keep him company."
Ella's past self didn't move to open the door. "Alright," she replied calmly from inside. "Please inform her I'll be done dressing shortly and will join them." She answered the maid who was standing outside the closed door. Hearing her response, the maid left.
In the room, a faint smile curved her lips. ''There's no way I'm letting the guest meet me standing next to that pervert.'
She moved toward the window, staring outside for a brief moment before her gaze shifted to the small packet on her bed. Looking at the drugs she had prepared a month ago, Ella's past self couldn't help but sigh.
"I truly hope all of this won't end up being in vain..." she murmured, and carefully, she hid the drugs beneath her pillow.
