"You think you're clever?" Clara hissed once she joined them.
"I am clever, Clara." Ella's past self replied calmly.
Clara stiffened. 'She had never called me by my name before.' Clara thought.
"Well," Clara sneered, "you're still a fool." She turned and walked away.
Emily leaned closer to her, smiling. "Mom is right, you are very foolish," she whispered. "You drank that wine, didn't you? Idiot."
Ella's brows faintly furrowed, as a strange sensation began creeping through her body.
Emily chuckled softly. "You could've handed everything over to me with some dignity." Emily smirked at her, 'They had given her a very strong aphrodisiac, how can she keep any dignity after tonight?' With such thoughts, she walked away and signaled a maid subtly.
"Let me help you, Miss," the maid said, guiding Ella's past self away, while Emily joined her mother in interacting with the guest. Neither them or the guest brought up Ella's speech.
