Chapter 208 - Chapter 208: Getsuga Tenshō!

Hundreds of magma dragons shot skyward like red-hot arrows from hell, blanketing the horizon and turning the previously calm sky into a thunderous chaos.

Huh!

The air trembled. The dragons opened their mouths in unison, and from there, a torrent of fiery dragon breath swept across the sky in a wave of heat that distorted the air.

"Bakudō #81. Dankū!"

Huh!

A spiritual barrier suddenly appeared before Lance—transparent and smooth as ice, yet solid as a divine fortress. Fire and heat capable of melting gold and steel merely brushed against its surface, then vanished as if insignificant.

The terrifying high temperature, which could forge weapons in an instant, left not a single scratch on the seemingly thin spiritual wall.

"Grrraar!" The magma giant leader controlled his dragon mount with a sharp cry. His massive body shot forward, breaking through the flames and heat, leaping over the spiritual wall, and swinging the recovered magma spear like a hellish storm about to tear the sky apart.

"You won't answer?" Lance's spiritual pressure exploded violently, spreading like a dark storm from his body.

Lance remained still, standing upright in the shadow of the sharp spear. With a sharp movement, Lance swung his Zanpakutō backward—Lance's slash was precise and unhesitating. "Then let you die before you answer!"

Boom!

The light of the blade exploded into the sky—illuminating the air with a silvery white glow, then engulfed the magma giant leader and the dragon he rode. Their bodies were struck and shattered in the air like giant sparks burning from within.

Lance frowned—his gaze sharp, his lips slightly curved in dissatisfaction.

The creature was like a ticking time bomb. Unable to withstand the attack, its body exploded from the inside out, like an erupting crater.

Hmm... the giant creature shattered into pieces. Not even the Black Lantern Ring could revive it—its soul and body completely disintegrated.

"Chief!"

"Chief killed!"

"Woof woof woof!"

A roar of rage and despair echoed, mixed with the sharp, terrifying barks of dogs.

Lance turned his head. In the distance, another group of magma giants appeared—running wildly on bare feet, their bodies trembling with the desire for revenge. They weren't riding dragons, but escorting a line of magma dogs the size of calves, their tongues lolling and dripping with lava.

"Oh my, is Morgan Le Fay going to create a new world?" Lance muttered under his breath, his voice cynical and flat.

With a light wave of his Zanpakutō—emotionless, like swatting away a fly—the ground before him suddenly cracked.

A giant crack opened from the ground like a demonic jaw, sucking in the fleeing magma giants and magma hounds. Their screams were swallowed in seconds—they didn't even have time to scream properly.

Boom!!!

The dark crack closed again with lightning speed—silencing them forever within the hot, silent bowels of the earth.

Lance, in an almost lazy voice, addressed the remaining magma giants: "Now it's your turn. Tell the truth or..."

"Shoot!"

"Shoot!!!"

Lance's intimidation only fueled an even wilder resistance.

Dozens of magma giants and dozens of magma dragons moved in unison—their footsteps shaking the ground, their war cries suffocating. The attack was launched in unison, a hail of magma arrows and blasts of high-temperature dragon breath raining down from the sky like apocalyptic rain.

"So formidable?" Lance grinned faintly. Lance lowered his Zanpakutō's stance slightly—and in a single breath, his spiritual pressure surged like a heavenly volcanic eruption. "I'll help you!"

"Getsuga Tenshō!"

A giant black slash, over 100 meters wide, surged from the blade of his upward-swinging sword. The slash was like a demonic scythe, sweeping through a group of magma creatures with merciless force.

Magma blood spurted, hot bodies exploded one by one, but the slash's energy remained undiminished—it continued shooting into the endless sky, slowly settling into a black moon on the horizon, like a scar on the sky itself.

Bang, bang, bang!

Like the previous magma giant leader, these creatures too exploded as their lives faded—not just died, but were wiped out of existence, transforming into self-destructive firebombs.

Fortunately, Lance had deliberately left one—one witness. One window for information.

The man was stunned, his magma giant eyes wide as if bewildered, watching his comrades explode one by one like ripe fruit struck by an iron hammer. Blood, flesh, and black light flew through the air, creating a scene resembling an abstract painting of hell. The man appeared confused, as if he didn't understand what was happening, or perhaps his mind was too muddled to accept reality.

Lance appeared beside him in a flash, silent as a shadow escaping the light. Lance swung a spinning kick, fast and deadly. His boot struck the man's ribs with a harsh crack. The man was sent plummeting through the air like a sack of flour thrown off a cliff.

Kyōka Suigetsu activated—reality began to crack and conform to the illusion's will. The air around Lance rippled faintly, as if the world itself were doubting its very existence.

Lance landed back on the ground, his clothes fluttering lightly in the whirlwind caused by the impact. Lance's sharp eyes stared at the man now lying on the ground, his body trembling uncontrollably under the influence of the illusion. Without wasting any time, Lance asked in a flat yet sharp tone: "Where is Morgan Le Fay?"

The hypnotized man answered honestly, his lips moving automatically, his eyes still blank, but his voice filled with burning fanaticism: "The great witch queen created us... then left this timeline. We... we await the witch queen's return!"

Morgan Le Fay. The name echoed in the air like an ancient mantra. One of the most powerful witches in Earth's history, a terrifying time traveler. Mastered in temporal manipulation spells, Morgan Le Fay moved freely through timelines like a leisurely stroll through the royal corridors. Like Kang the Conqueror, no one knew for certain when and where Morgan Le Fay would appear. Even her shadow could pose a significant threat.

However, as long as Morgan Le Fay wasn't in this timeline... it was all right!
