"I-I'll kill you!"
Kama flicked Drake off. The hams he called arms flexed and clenched to a fist, winding with the sole purpose of knocking Drake into yet another dimension. He scrambled but Kama was fast, getting to his feet first creating a roadblock with just his chest. Only halfway up and staring down a punch, Drake flinched.
"Wait!"
Kazuya appeared from nowhere, fitting perfectly between them. Scrap book up. It glowed blue.
"Right now?" Kama asked, his tone a hushed landslide.
His shoulders dropped, expression blank.
"Happening or just happened." Kazuya whispered back.
"What? What?" Drake yelled.
Kazuya looked to Kama, who sighed.
Kazuya turned.
The picture was of Paige being held by a shadowy figure. There was blood all over, the sheet almost dripping with it.
Drake's throat ran dry, feet moving on their own. He had to move, every muscle demanded action.
"That's happening now?" Drake wheezed.
Kama's face fell.
Drake took off.
Kazuya gave Kama a look as they watched him sprint away. Kama raised a brow and shrugged. Kazuya pointed in the actual direction of the action and Kama nodded, shoulders dropping.
He scooped Kazuya under his arm and jumped, landing in front of Drake who was still running. He snatched him up and jumped. Blasting into the air, the ground below shrunk.
