"AAAAAAyyaaaa!!"
Jin found himself screaming as he fell. The beast acted, forcing him to spread his legs at an angle before twisting sharply to grab Naya rather inappropriately, putting himself between her and the earth before they hit the ground, rolling to a stop on a rock.
Time took a break, it deserved it seeing how hard it'd worked to fill every moment of his life with horror. There was just so much screaming in his life. The horror and pain expanded, moving forever and a day when suddenly the pain became real. Time was back on the clock, determined to get a promotion.
The impact along with Naya's, who was all over him, scrapped against his nerves, burning when not throbbing. The rock, and concrete of a crushed building, cement, support beams, copper piping jutting out around them, they should have been impaled.
"Get off me!" Jin growled before pushing her off his chest, "twice in a row."
"Stop complaining."
On shaky knees she managed to pull herself up and dust off. Jin shot off like a sprinter to the fattish man, when in range he swung his arm in a vicious arc. The fattish man moved back with an ease born of experience and the arm flew past his head.
As a reward, he rammed his fist into Jin's stomach.
Jin continued his spin, twirling up the arm. His other arm dropped on the man's head. There was a dull metallic thunk.
He crumpled.
That was one.
One more to go.
