It's getting concerning.
Not the kind that makes me think that we are never going to make it out of this, but the kind that makes me know that the next last weeks are not going to be as fun, and when we get back to work, it won't be as easy. It won't be easy to work with someone you strongly dislike.
Gosh, I wish I had someone to help me with all of this. Jude knows what to do most of the time. I wish he were here. But Jude has been busy with Miko and in their faraway land, not caring about the rest of us.
It hurts to think that my best friend forgets me when I am not in front of him, like I cease to exist entirely until I seek him out.
Sighing, I cap the nail polish, wiggling my toes stuck between the toe separators. Mmh, dark blue really suits me.
The doorbell breaks me out of the admiration I have for my pretty toes, and I look up. It's late in the afternoon. 3 pm to be exact. There is no one at home, and no one is supposed to be here.
