Elena vanished again mid-motion, dissolving into air with a clean, fluid shimmer.
Mira landed, boots grinding against the arena surface as she slid half a step to stabilize her stance.
Her jaw tightened in irritation.
Mira clenched her fist again as ether flared brighter across her limbs.
Her shoulders rose and fell slowly, "Tch. Don't mock me."
Yet Elena only chuckled "Then stop swinging like a beginner. Hard to take you seriously when you're hitting the air."
Brandon let out a quiet sigh that carried more fond exhaustion than annoyance.
His eyes followed the faintest flicker of ether displacement in the arena and looked at her "Elena stop provoking her and finish the match already."
Technically he can fight Mira since he is not defeated yet, but doing that won't give individual marks for Elena.
"But it is more fun this way." She flickered back into view just long enough to stick her tongue out cheekily, then disappeared again.
