After being separated for so long through those painful memories, Edmund and Primrose seemed unwilling to let go of each other again.
Even when they demanded an explanation from Leofric, Primrose remained comfortably seated on Edmund's lap, with one of his arms wrapped firmly around her waist.
Meanwhile, Leofric and Lorelle sat on the couch across from them, forced to watch the couple's shameless display of affection.
"Was the skull that thing possessed before…" Primrose glanced at the evil chest sitting on the table. "…Edmund's skull? I mean, the Captain's skull?"
Of course, they were technically the same person, but Primrose refused to think of that skull as belonging to her husband. Just thinking about Edmund's head being separated from his body again was enough to make her heart hurt.
"I believe so, yes," Leofric replied with a nod. "That skull had a very strong connection to both of you, so I think this theory might actually be correct."
