"That's called being informed," he said calmly. "You should try it sometime."

Before he could continue, my grandmother stepped in, cutting through the exchange before it could spiral further.
"Anyway, Billion," she said, shifting the focus, "when is Vivi coming back?"
"Today," I replied, my tone settling. "I can feel it. She's about to finish."
"That's good," Edgar added, his usual sarcasm fading as he grew a bit more serious. "Do you want us to prepare anything? Just in case."

"No. I'll go to Vaythos and handle it myself," I said, already turning slightly as I prepared to leave.
