Joseph Lancaster walked over and took the lunchbox from his mother's hand. Lorelei Howard also came to the front of the bed, glaring at her daughter-in-law, who dared not raise her head, her face livid.
"Daxton is young and doesn't know better, and you, as the sister-in-law, don't know to watch out a bit. Doing something like this in public! Luckily, I was the one who saw it today. If outsiders saw it, what would they think? Even if you don't care about your reputation, at least consider our Daxton!"
Violet Zimmerman kept her head down and dared not speak. After Joseph Lancaster placed the lunchbox down, he walked over and tugged at his mother's sleeve.
"Mom, what are you talking nonsense for? I'm just tired and wanted to lie down for a while. Why are you scolding Sis-in-law!"
"Don't pull me!" Lorelei Howard suddenly shouted, her voice rising sharply, scaring Violet Zimmerman into a shiver.
