The young boy said indistinctly while chewing, "It's pretty good, why don't you want to eat?"
Violet Zimmerman stared blankly at her young brother-in-law beside her. The young boy grabbed her wrist and took another bite, then pushed the apple back towards Violet Zimmerman's lips, "Sister-in-law, hurry up and eat, it's quite tasty."
Looking at the apple pushed back, the side facing her happens to be where the young brother-in-law had just bitten. Unlike girls, boys eat openly and boldly; Joseph Lancaster only took two bites, yet half of the apple in his hand was gone.
As Violet Zimmerman hesitated, the apple was already pushed to her lips. Reluctantly, she had to open her mouth and take a small bite.
Her heart was in turmoil, as if the piece of apple in her mouth carried the saliva of her young brother-in-law, sweet, crispy, with a hint of the taste from the boy's mouth.
