Richard Shaw's tall body tensed slightly, his tea-colored, unfathomable eyes cast over. He saw her come down wearing a loose sweater, her features cold and exquisite, tinged with a hint of pallor, looking much leaner than before the new year, and his mood inexplicably sank into melancholy.
