"Go away, don't touch me." Her voice was still a bit hoarse, but it was cold as she spoke and moved towards the edge of the bed.
Richard Shaw was slightly taken aback by her resistance, his mood gloomy. Seeing her curled up in the blanket with her phone screen lighting up repeatedly, he wondered who she was chatting with. He recalled her praising Hawk Howard earlier when he walked in, and his mood became even more stifled.
Richard had no intention of sleeping. After waiting for half an hour, and seeing her still engrossed in her phone, he couldn't bear it anymore. He pulled her out of the blanket with his large hand and said heavily, "We need to talk."
Crystal Landon tossed her phone aside, half-charming, half-innocent, and leaned against the bed, saying coolly, "Go ahead."
