Hearing Thomas Fisher's voice, Alice Turner suddenly felt so wronged, she wanted to cry, but she forced herself to hold back the urge.
She couldn't let him on the other end of the call notice her abnormality. After quickly adjusting her emotions, she responded to him on the call, "Why are you calling so late? Aren't you worried that I might be asleep?"
It wasn't late yet; she usually went to sleep after this time, she had never slept early.
"I know you haven't fallen asleep yet, you must be thinking about me, right." Thomas paused, then immediately said again, "I miss you."
He really missed her, ever since he parted with her, he began to miss her, and now his mind was full of her image.
Alice Turner missed Thomas Fisher on the other end of the call very much too, she really really missed him. She didn't coyly deny it but admitted straightforwardly, "I miss you too."
