Alice Turner's little thoughts were all written on her face, and Thomas Fisher could see it clearly at a glance. Yet, he played along with her joke, pretending to be angry with a stern face, "Take back what you just said to me immediately."
She actually said he didn't want to see her. Heaven knows how much he wanted to see her.
"I! Will! Not!"
Alice shook her head firmly, as if she was deliberately trying to annoy Thomas in the call. She only responded with three words, and even said them one by one.
Seeing her bobbing head, Thomas found it both funny and infuriating, but he restrained himself from laughing out loud. He tried hard to keep his face straight, "Alice Turner! I'm angry at you, quickly take back what you just said."
He was holding back really hard to prevent himself from breaking character.
"Now I'm mad at you too."
Alice turned her phone screen away while she was silently laughing behind the phone, which didn't look like she was angry at all.
