Upon hearing the name Rosie Thompson, Theodore Holmes's calm facade crumbled instantly. He turned sharply to look at Lily Turner lying on the hospital bed. He stared at her for a long time, unable to utter a word.
Rosie! The girl he had been searching for and thinking about for many years.
How did she become Lily Turner? No wonder he could never find her; she had long stopped being Isabella Taylor.

Seeing Theodore Holmes staring at her, Lily Turner felt a bit uneasy under his gaze, but she didn't know what to say to him. So, she greeted him to break his stare.
