Little Ann didn't want to go back with Harriet, and both Sophia Wood and Amelia Linton didn't persuade Little Ann to go, because they didn't want to trouble others with taking care of Little Ann.
Not being able to take Little Ann home, Harriet felt a bit disappointed, but she wasn't upset at all, and she didn't force Little Ann to go home with her.
To help the Linton Family, Harriet stayed at the hospital until the evening before going home, and she returned early the next morning to the hospital to help with things.
"Aunt!"
Seeing Harriet come to the hospital to help early in the morning, Lily Turner felt a warmth in her heart, and her gaze toward Harriet was filled with deep gratitude.
Harriet clearly saw the gratitude in Lily's eyes, and she walked briskly to the bedside, bending over to touch Lily's cheek, "Your complexion looks much better today, recovering well."
Her gaze towards the person on the bed was especially gentle and loving.
