When Theodore Holmes called, Fabian Holmes was waiting at the kindergarten gate to pick up little Anna. The gate hadn't opened yet, but quite a few parents had already gathered at the entrance.
Standing amidst the crowd, he was on the phone while eagerly awaiting.
"Dad! Where are you right now?" Fabian Holmes had been visiting the Linton Family villa daily these days. Theodore Holmes guessed his dad might be at the Linton Family, but he wasn't entirely sure.
Upon hearing his son's inquiry, Fabian Holmes knew there must be something important. "I'm at the kindergarten to pick up Anna, anything you need? If there's something, say it quickly; the gate will open soon."
He raised his arm to glance at his watch; less than ten minutes remained until the kindergarten gate would open.
