Lily Turner and her brother William Turner were chatting in the room when Easton Holmes arrived unexpectedly at the Turner Family home. Seeing him suddenly appear, Christopher Turner assumed he was there to take Lily home. Without waiting for him to ask, Christopher spoke up, "Lily is upstairs chatting with William. Do you want to go up there to find her now, or would you like to sit here for a bit before going up?"
Christopher pointed to a spot not far from him, and although he spoke like that, what he really intended was for Easton to go over and sit down.
"I'll just wait for her to come down here."
Christopher's intention was so obvious that Easton found it hard to ignore. Originally, he came with the important charge given by his granddad, uncle, and aunt. He walked over and sat down without a moment's hesitation.
Seeing Easton sit down on the sofa, Sophia Wood leaned over to pour him a glass of water, then got up and pushed it in front of him. "Have some water first."
