Lily Turner chatted with William Turner for a while, and after seeing that William's mood was gradually calming down, she felt reassured enough to leave his room and go downstairs.
Originally, she intended to come in and say a quick hello to her parents before heading home, but upon entering, she was surprised to see Easton Holmes there as well. She truly hadn't expected him to be there.
"Easton came to take you home."
Before Easton Holmes had a chance to speak, Christopher Turner, sitting not far away, answered on his behalf.
Lily Turner glanced at Easton Holmes, and from his expression, she saw a slightly different answer. However, she didn't continue asking questions. Instead, she went over and sat beside him, "How long have you been here?"
Could it be that he arrived just after she went upstairs? She had been upstairs for quite some time.
