Thomas Fisher keenly noticed Alice Turner's tense, vein-popping hand. He clearly saw the tension emanating from within her. Sighing inaudibly, he strode over and sat down beside her.
"Alice! Why are you so tense?" He had heard the call she just answered and wanted to talk to her about their cooperation, not expecting her to misunderstand.
Seeing how tense she was, he suddenly lost the desire to discuss work. He leaned in closer to her, staring at her without blinking.
Alice Turner was already quite nervous, and with Thomas Fisher suddenly leaning closer, her anxiety intensified. She clutched her laptop and shuffled backward.
