I originally planned to stay at my parents' house and chat with my sister, but unexpectedly, an uninvited guest showed up.
Lily Turner intended to decline Athena Linton's invitation to go back home, but considering it was the first time she came after the incident, Lily couldn't bring herself to say no.
The girl would be leaving after a few days, and there would be plenty of opportunities to chat with her sister.
"Sis! I'll find another chance to chat by candlelight with you. I'll go back and accompany that girl today." Fearing Alice Turner would feel uncomfortable hearing Athena's name, Lily Turner used "that girl" to refer to Athena Linton.
"Go ahead."
Alice Turner waved her hand, signaling Lily Turner to hurry back. Although she minded that girl liking Thomas Fisher, she wasn't petty about it.
"I'm off then."
Lily Turner waved to Alice Turner and strode out of the room, heading straight downstairs.
