"Sis! Athena's on the phone."
Lily Turner didn't plan to hide it from Alice Turner, and held her phone up in front of her sister, letting her take a look.
Alice knew what her sister intended, but she still asked, "Do I need to step out?"
"It's not my husband calling, no need." Lily blurted this out without a moment's thought.
Alice chuckled, "Got it, if it's your husband calling, I'll definitely leave right away."
"Ah! I didn't mean that."
Hearing her sister tease her, Lily realized what she had said just moments ago, and couldn't help but blush.
"You should pick it up before she gets worried."
Alice gestured toward the phone in Lily's hand, reminding her to answer it quickly.
"Oh."
Lily regained her composure, swiped the phone screen with her finger, and answered the call, "Athena! How did you..."
"Hey goddess sis! When are you coming back from your parents' place?" Athena Linton interrupted before Lily could finish her sentence.
