Thousands of miles away, Green Bull sneezed, completely unaware that Sakazuki had begun to harbor a deep dislike for him. While Green Bull was an Admiral recruited from the civilian population, his sense of justice was fundamentally different from Fujitora's. He was a staunch supporter of Sakazuki's "Absolute Justice" and held no sympathy for pirates. Furthermore, he blindly worshipped the Celestial Dragons and the World Government, going so far as to classify people from non-member nations as inferior beings undeserving of human rights—a radical ideology for someone of humble origins.
Assigned to protect the Celestial Dragons, Green Bull was thrilled by the opportunity to fawn over them. However, his performance was lackluster when the Revolutionary Army launched an attack using specialized shells that could bend in mid-air. The resulting explosions devastated parts of Mariejois, terrifying the Celestial Dragons. Despite the destruction, Green Bull continued to prioritize their safety, even as they scolded him for the perceived failure. He went as far as to take the blame on behalf of the Marines to soothe the Celestial Dragons' egos, leaving his fellow Admirals, Momousagi and Chaton, completely bewildered by such servile behavior.
Meanwhile, Kong was furious that Sakazuki had not yet returned to Mariejois despite direct orders. When Sakazuki finally responded via a correspondent, he claimed he was already engaged in battle with several Emperors and could not withdraw. Kong was left to grapple with the realization that Sakazuki had placed the destruction of the pirate Emperors above the safety of the Celestial Dragons.
In the North Blue, the tension was suffocating. With the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines now fully involved, the battle had evolved into a complex standoff where every Emperor was either fighting or fleeing. The Marines had committed significant resources, including the Marshal, two Admirals, and elite veterans from the Summit War. With the Straw Hats, Blackbeards, and Big Mom Pirates all battered and exhausted, the situation was turning precarious.
Fujitora relentlessly targeted the Thousand Sunny with his gravity-based purple halos, forcing Sanji to maneuver the ship aggressively to avoid being grounded. Luffy, frustrated and eager to fight, was held back by his crew, who knew that engaging the Marines directly would only lead to a trap from which they could not escape.
"Luffy! Stop fighting! It's time to retreat!" Ace shouted from the Moby Dick.
Seeing the Moby Dick turning to withdraw, Luffy realized Whitebeard had made the call to end the engagement. "Little ones, the war with Blackbeard and Big Mom is over, retreat now!" Luffy commanded, and Sanji immediately directed the ship to speed away.
Fujitora, however, would not let them go so easily. He fired a purple halo into the sky, summoning a dense, rain-like barrage of meteorites to crush the Straw Hat group.
"I'll go! Uncle Issho is too cruel!" Usopp complained, a sentiment shared by the rest of the crew.
Just as the meteorites descended, a familiar voice rang out. "How can I watch my good brother being bullied? The new Marine Admiral Fujitora, right? Let me be your opponent!".
A figure appeared in the sky, riding a unicorn atop auspicious clouds. The clouds surged upward, catching the falling rocks one by one and hurling them back toward Fujitora's warship.
"Sabo!" Luffy cheered, his eyes brightening.
Aboard the Moby Dick, Ace watched as his brother turned into a unicorn and intercepted the barrage. Whitebeard looked on with relief, seeing the Straw Hats' allies arrive to tip the scales. "That's right! Sabo won't watch Luffy being bullied and remain indifferent, and it's only natural that he will come!" Ace declared proudly.
