Chapter 452 - Chapter 451: Early Morning

"What did your father say? Did he have any objections?"

Naori smiled when she heard this. "Yes, he did have objections. He said we should have gotten married a long time ago, but since you're the Hokage, he understands you."

Torifu had worried that Naori's father would be reluctant to marry Naori to him, but it seemed he had overthought it. He then lowered his head and kissed Naori's forehead. "Thank you for waiting so long."

Naori waved her hand. "It's fine with me. I'm very happy now."

"Although it was a bit of a wait, at least we have a great outcome now, don't we?"

Torifu returned home after dropping Naori off at the Uchiha Clan Compound. When he got home, everyone seemed to be strolling around the courtyard, likely because they had eaten too much. Amado had turned on the courtyard lights, making it very bright.

"Big Brother is back," Amado said from where he was sitting in the gazebo.

"Why are you drinking tea after just drinking alcohol? Aren't you afraid it'll kill you?"

Amado shook his head. "I didn't drink alcohol. I was drinking water earlier. I'm just cleansing my palate now."

This kid was always making a spectacle of himself. He was clearly not the type to be refined, but he constantly put on airs. Torifu just let him be and didn't waste time arguing.

He turned his attention to Minato, who was playing a game. It was a rare day off, and after watching his junior apprentices train in the afternoon, he finally got to play now. Torifu walked over and sat down next to him. After watching him kill all the opposing ninjas, he asked, "How did tonight feel? I saw you talking to Kushina the whole time."

Minato smiled. "Hehe, yeah. Kushina said it's boring for her alone at the academy and she wants to graduate quickly."

That was unrealistic, of course. Kushina's Ninjutsu wasn't good enough, and her Three Body Technique foundation wasn't solid, so she definitely couldn't skip grades to become a Genin. She could only honestly study for another two years, and if she wasn't ready after two years, she might even have to repeat a grade. Minato understood this logic. Letting Kushina become a ninja now would only harm her.

"It's only two years. It'll pass quickly. You can apply to be on the same team as Kushina then."

Minato nodded. "Big Brother is right. Two years will pass quickly."

Torifu stroked his head. "I won't bother you. Keep playing."

Minato was as sensible as always, but the two little ones were not as worry-free as Minato. They were currently running all over the courtyard, seemingly unafraid of running so fast that they'd get a stomachache.

"Alright, alright, stop running. Come here for a debriefing."

Yahiko and Konan, who were playing, immediately turned and ran to Torifu.

"Sensei! What are your instructions!" Yahiko bowed to Torifu, putting on a mature and serious act.

This made Torifu chuckle. "Where did you learn that?"

"On TV, the Hashirama Tales... To be honest, it's not very good."

"Of course, it's not good, but there's nothing else to watch. That's the only TV show there's been for so many years." The item automatically generated by the system had unexpectedly turned into this. It had made people from all corners of the world recall Hashirama. However, Hashirama himself didn't wish to be recalled.

"How was the dinner tonight?"

Yahiko rubbed his stomach. "It was very filling! Konan and I just kept eating. We couldn't understand what you guys were talking about, so we could only eat."

Konan also said with a smile, "We originally wanted to act a little better behaved, but it seemed unnecessary."

They had hidden intentions, which Torifu hadn't expected.

"Play for a little while and then go to bed. It's getting a bit late today." With that, he turned and went inside.

Yahiko and Konan continued to run around the courtyard. Watching their figures darting around the courtyard, Torifu felt that he should send them to the academy. He wouldn't have much free time in the next month or two, and Minato had to go on missions every day. It definitely wouldn't do to leave these two children at home alone. The loneliness alone would be hard for them. After much thought, sending them to school seemed like the optimal solution. Not only could they make new friends, but they could also learn about ninja knowledge and the history of Konoha in a more systematic way. Torifu's teaching couldn't be as comprehensive as the Ninja Academy's.

However, this could wait until tomorrow. At this moment, Torifu was washing up and getting ready for bed. When he finished, the lights in the courtyard were extinguished, and the sounds of Yahiko and Konan running were gone. They must have gone to sleep. With that, Torifu lay down on the bed and slept peacefully.

The next morning, Torifu was awakened by the system's notification sound. Looking at the clock in the room, it was indeed five o'clock, and the sky outside hadn't fully brightened yet. He lay back down to sleep for a bit longer. When he was a child, he would be completely awake by this time every day, but not anymore. He needed to sleep in a little every day. Unfortunately, the system's notification sound couldn't be changed at all.

After sleeping for about two more hours, around seven o'clock, Torifu was fully awake. After getting up, washing, and changing his clothes, he held a cup of hot milk and set up a rocking chair at the door. He lay down and happily began to drink it.

The courtyard was still a bit cool in the early morning, but a cup of hot milk warmed him up considerably. Soon after, Minato walked out of the room. He also performed his morning exercises at this time every day. Torifu didn't disturb him. The mind is usually very clear in the morning, and he might figure out something he didn't understand before. Torifu was afraid that suddenly speaking would disrupt Minato's train of thought, so he only watched every morning. He would only speak to correct Minato when a small mistake appeared.

However, based on Minato's training today, there was still no progress with the Flying Thunder God. The content of his training was exactly the same as yesterday morning. But this wasn't something that could be achieved overnight; it required slow training. Torifu himself only succeeded in training the Cloud Release after an instant of enlightenment and changing his chakra composition. Minato was currently only lacking an opportunity for enlightenment.

It was unfortunate that Torifu had the system's talent boost, while Minato could only rely on himself. But he should take it slow; this was not something that could be rushed. Torifu had asked Tobirama multiple times, but the response was always the same. In Tobirama's opinion, Minato was very likely to master the Flying Thunder God. After all, he had only been training for a few months and had already reached this point. Logically, this should take a year or two of training to achieve. This was thanks to Minato's talent in Space-Time Ninjutsu, which allowed him to quickly grasp the simpler steps.

Torifu didn't know the Flying Thunder God, so he couldn't help much. He could only silently encourage and support him.
