Chapter 636: The Final Battle at the Asura Shrine, Part 1
Divine power is known as the ultimate energy source because, with even the slightest remnant of divine will, a god can resurrect if nourished by enough divine energy. This is what happened with Qian Renxue. Her case was better, though, as she managed to retain her original god position. If she hadn't, her reborn soul would have had to reforge the path to godhood all over again.
As the Asura Sword's vessel, Xiao Wu undoubtedly harbors a fragment of Tang San's divine will. Regardless of his own outcome, as long as Xiao Wu could escape, Tang San's survival in a true sense would remain intact. But did Tang San really think Ye Wen was oblivious to this? What exactly did Tang San perceive him as a fool blind to such blatant trickery?
Or perhaps Tang San believed this scheme was foolproof, an inescapable trap for Ye Wen. Or maybe, he hoped to mislead Ye Wen, hoping he'd believe Xiao Wu's was the sole fragment of his divine will left behind.
But Ye Wen had never truly considered Tang San a threat. His actual aim was to strip Tang San of his Asura God position, ensuring he could no longer ascend to a higher realm. Whatever lingering fragments of divine will Tang San possessed, they would never threaten Huo Yu'er's future. Like Ye Wen, she would one day conquer the stars, fighting across the galaxy and building her own empire, advancing to the supreme level of God King.
By then, Tang San would find no sanctuary. Wherever he sought to reascend, Huo Yu'er's forces would be watching. And even if he managed to rise to godhood again, she would hunt him down, ensuring his death once more. This was the true, foolproof trap.
A serene smile spread across Ye Wen's face.
"Ah, you are unexpectedly devoted. Very well, I accept your condition," he replied. "Win or lose against my disciple, I promise I'll exile your wife from this starry realm, allowing her to depart in peace."
Tang San's heart leapt, but he managed to feign composure, bowing in a show of calm gratitude.
"Thank you, great Vast Sea God King."
Not long after, a powerful ripple surged through the God Realm's barrier. Huo Yu'er and her forces had arrived not just a party of eight but a massive contingent numbering over a hundred. Apart from Huo Yu'er herself, now Empress of Douluo, her group consisted of her trusted followers, loyal warriors she had trained over the years. Though most lacked divine positions and had reached godly status through sheer divine energy, with their armor's aid, they were fully prepared for their mission in the God Realm.
Upon arrival, Huo Yu'er turned to her forces.
"According to the plan pair off in teams of two. Attempt negotiations first; if they refuse, you may eliminate and seize their positions. If you encounter an opponent beyond your strength, send a signal immediately."
The troops responded with a firm acknowledgment. Without further instruction, they split off, each pair setting off in a designated direction. Safety reminders were unnecessary. Every warrior here had been personally selected by Huo Yu'er, and if they lacked the courage to face gods, they weren't worthy of serving the Empress of Douluo herself.
While her troops could manage lower tier gods, the more powerful opponents would require the skill of the Tianxing Knight Corps or even Electrolux himself. The upper echelon of Douluo's God Realm had already crumbled. Many lesser gods were aligned with various God King factions. Since Ye Wen wasn't going to massacre their followers, Huo Yu'er's knight corps only needed to focus on a few remaining higher level threats.
Once everyone had dispersed, Huo Yu'er turned and set her course directly for the Asura Shrine.
She gazed at the familiar figure standing by the shrine's entrance, and her eyes warmed. Though her intense training had shaped her into a resolute leader, her usually steely golden eyes softened as she approached Ye Wen.
Standing before him, her former aloofness melted away, and she greeted him in a gentle tone, "Master."
Ye Wen nodded slightly, sparing little time for pleasantries, and spoke to her earnestly,
"Go, Huo Yu'er. Bring an end to the last shadows that haunt Douluo Star."
"Yes, Master," she responded. Clutching her sword, she saluted him and strode determinedly into the Asura Shrine.
Though now Empress of Douluo, Huo Yu'er was well aware of the weight of her responsibilities. While the God Realm that had once loomed over Douluo had fallen, this was all due to her master, Ye Wen. Without his unmatched power, not only would she have remained confined to Douluo, but the planet itself would have stayed shackled under the parasitic grip of the God Realm.
Now, it was her duty to bring this chapter of Douluo's history to a final, decisive end.
The Asura Shrine was not merely a shrine but an entire pocket world of vast lands and plains, including the abode of Tang San's family. Tang San now sat atop a towering peak, and without his Sea God position, he could no longer wear the azure armor of his former title. Instead, he wore the dark, blood red armor of the Asura God, adorned with fierce, menacing patterns radiating an aura of sheer malevolence. His hair, once a soft blue, had turned stark white under the Asura God's influence, and he exuded a cold, murderous intent, resembling the true god of death.
He fixed his gaze on the cold goddess before him, his voice low and filled with venom.
"You dare stand before me after killing my child? You have a lot of nerve."
"That's of little consequence," Huo Yu'er replied icily. "I have only one thing to say to you, Tang San today, you will die."
With that, her godly aura flared, releasing a lethal force that pressed down like a mountain.
Tang San, struggling to maintain his usual composure, felt the gravity of her power. Huo Yu'er's strength had reached the level of a God King!?
"How is this possible?" Tang San's mind reeled.
Jealousy flared within him. For someone so young to attain a level he'd spent millennia reaching had to be the work of her master, the Vast Sea God King. How lucky she was to have such a powerful benefactor! If only that benefactor had been his instead.
Though Tang San had known he was likely fated to die here, he hadn't anticipated being so thoroughly outmatched. Realizing Huo Yu'er's God King level strength, he grew serious. Though he knew he would lose, the righteous Tang San would not allow himself to be defeated without dignity.
The battle of God Kings had begun!

Chapter 637: The Final Battle at the Asura Shrine, Part 2
Though Huo Yu'er had reached the level of a God King, she had not forgotten the caution instilled by her master, Ye Wen. Gripping her sword with both hands, she prepared to unleash her domain. But Tang San, seemingly prepared for this, activated his domain first.
"Asura Domain!"
"Reincarnation Duel Platform!"
Almost simultaneously, both domains were unleashed.
Tang San had initially wanted to replicate Huo Yu'er's technique of sealing and weaving rules within a domain, but with the gods watching, there was no way he could grasp such intricate mastery just by observing her. He didn't bother learning the enclosed domain technique afterward, since he already understood that, on the Douluo Continent, only a domain could counter another domain.
By chance, this gamble paid off: Huo Yu'er's Reincarnation Duel Platform's forced suppression effect disappeared, reverting to the true essence of her Reincarnation Domain.
Huo Yu'er furrowed her brow.
"It seems I still lack experience. I was a moment too late in unleashing my domain and failed to seal his."
The core tactic of the Reincarnation Duel Platform was an instant knockout. Theoretically, even if her opponent was one tier above her, once they fell into the trap, their power would be forcibly sealed. The trade off, however, was that her own divine power would rapidly drain. If she couldn't defeat her opponent before exhausting her energy, she would lose by default.
Now, due to Tang San's domain interference, Huo Yu'er's Reincarnation Duel Platform was unable to suppress his power and instead reverted to its original cyclical nature. Around her, the seasons changed continuously one moment frigid winter winds swept by, the next moment spring flowers bloomed in the air. Such was the essence of the Reincarnation Goddess martial spirit's power.
Though her ambush had failed, Huo Yu'er remained unfazed, her icy gaze fixed on Tang San.
She exhaled a cold breath, vanishing in an instant.
"Judgment of Reincarnation!"
In a blink, Huo Yu'er reappeared directly in front of Tang San. As she swung her sword, all things around them seemed to wither and decay.
Tang San's face twisted with alarm. He had encountered spatial gods before, but the power she wielded now was entirely different. This force seemed to have touched upon the fabled rules of time itself!
Though Tang San's moral character was highly questionable, his years of accumulated battle experience were unmatched. Gritting his teeth, he forced his mind to clear and unleashed a signature move of the Asura God.
"Asura Judgement!"
With an explosive shout, Tang San slashed his Asura Demon Sword through the air, unleashing six crimson arcs of light that clashed with Huo Yu'er's attack.
Just like Huo Yu'er's Reincarnation Judgment, this move contained the force of judgment itself. As a signature ability of the Asura God's enforcer, it was designed to judge violators of divine law. When used against a god of lower rank or an equal tier intruder, it was a surefire lethal blow or, at the very least, one that would inflict severe injury. Though it had its limitations, it was undeniably a powerful divine skill.
While its effectiveness was reduced against another God King, facing an intruder like Huo Yu'er only served to amplify its full power.
The two forces collided with such intensity that it seemed the very fabric of this space would be torn apart.
Seeing that the clash was depleting her divine energy with no clear advantage, Huo Yu'er opted to withdraw her power, choosing to conserve her strength and strategize another way to defeat Tang San.
Tang San, eager to retaliate, suddenly noticed a massive golden eye staring down from the sky.
Huo Yu'er's martial spirit wasn't solely the Reincarnation Goddess; her true strength lay in the God Eye martial spirit she had honed to the utmost degree.
"Reincarnation: Void!"
When Ye Wen was still a mortal, he had a spirit ability with a similar concept. His spirit ring, bestowed by the Celestial Abyss Unicorn Whale, enabled him to access a power known as "Blank Moment," which forced an enemy's mind to blank out a game breaking control ability that Ye Wen rarely had to use given his already formidable strength.
This concept had inspired Huo Yu'er greatly. Combining her immense spiritual power with the Reincarnation laws of her Reincarnation Goddess martial spirit, she created her own ultimate technique.
Reincarnation: Void.
This ability forced her target to experience hundreds of lifetimes within the span of a few moments, draining their mental energy and plunging them into confusion. Though the window of vulnerability was brief, for a God King, even a fraction of a second could determine victory or defeat.
With an icy resolve, Huo Yu'er raised her sword to sever Tang San's head.
Just as she closed in, Tang San's dazed eyes flickered with resistance. Gritting his teeth, he lifted the blood red Asura Demon Sword, meeting Huo Yu'er's Komyo Sword in a fierce clash.
It was evident, however, that Tang San was struggling. Huo Yu'er's move hadn't failed entirely.
"Impressive," Huo Yu'er remarked with mild surprise. "Even under the effects of my technique, you forced yourself to break through the illusions of reincarnation and face me in reality."
Tang San's eyes cleared completely, his gaze hard as he spoke through gritted teeth.
"Don't be so smug, brat! I am the Asura God, Tang San!"
With a fierce shout, he poured all his strength into his sword, sending Huo Yu'er flying.
From his early years, Tang San had faced enemies who wielded powerful illusions, and it was thanks to the mystical effects of the "Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass" and the "Purple Demon Eye" that he had developed resistance to such mental assaults. After his ascension, the Purple Demon Eye had evolved further under the nourishment of divine power.
Though he was surprised he could break through the illusion of a God King, Tang San wasn't foolish enough to believe it changed his fate. He was going to die here. But he refused to die a coward. He would prove his worth as the rightful bearer of the Asura God title, even in his final moments!
Drawing upon his resolve, Tang San's godly energy merged with his fighting spirit, unleashing an even deadlier killing intent.
Yet, as he watched Huo Yu'er's power surge to even greater heights, he knew he couldn't keep up this battle of attrition.
In one final desperate move, Tang San ignited the Asura blood coursing through him, bestowed upon him by the Asura God position.
"Huo Yu'er, this is my last move. If you want to kill me, then come and face it. But I won't hold back any longer!
Ultimate Divine Skill: Asura Blood Sword!
The entire realm was dyed a menacing shade of crimson as Tang San unleashed his ultimate strike, merging his very life force, spirit, and the essence of his soul into one devastating blow!

Chapter 638: The Downfall of a Love Blinded Mind
Huo Yu'er was unwilling to show any weakness. As her Reincarnation Domain receded back into her body, she channeled the full might of the Reincarnation Principle into her sword, fusing it with the blade of Komyo.
Reincarnation the cycle of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, of birth, aging, sickness, and death is the natural law of life, a constant cycle for all things under heaven.
Yet, all things must eventually come to an end.
In this strike, Huo Yu'er grasped the fragment of death inherent in the Reincarnation Principle, adding it to her blow.
"Reincarnation's End!"
At this moment, a dark energy far exceeding the destructive power of any divine force enveloped the air. Outside the Asura Shrine, the God of Destruction watched with an expression of shock and awe as he observed this surge of ominous energy that seemed even darker and more powerful than his own destructive force.
"What is this divine power? Its nature surpasses even my own power of destruction!" he murmured.
Beside him, the God of Life, usually indifferent to her husband's powers, now wore an expression of pure disgust.
"It's terrifying... Your destruction holds mere ruin, but that energy is pure death utter and complete."
As the God of Destruction processed her words, he nodded, recognizing her insight. Both then turned to look at Ye Wen, silently asking for answers.
Knowing that these two would soon be his subordinates, Ye Wen explained with a pleased smile.
"My disciple's core power is the law of reincarnation, similar to your own powers of life and destruction. It encompasses both the forces of birth and end, forming a perpetual cycle.
Beyond the turning of the seasons, Reincarnation signifies an endless transformation between different states. However, there exists no permanence in this universe; all things, even cycles, come to a final end. And my disciple has comprehended that ultimate truth the final extinction of all existence. I believe that one day, with her talents, she will understand this to its fullest, attaining a rank equal to the Creators themselves."
Ye Wen finished his explanation, noticing that neither the God of Destruction nor the God of Life was listening. They both looked deep in thought, as if pondering something else entirely. Though initially annoyed, he soon realized why: the couple had always yearned for a child of their own. Yet, because their divine natures were fundamentally opposing, the possibility of a harmonious union had eluded them for centuries.
In the Asura Shrine, the once vibrant land had darkened, overtaken by clashing energies black and red. Each corner of this realm now radiated death, leaving this once lush world barren and decayed.
After a long and fierce clash, the chaotic forces began to fade, but the small world itself had been destroyed beyond repair, the land now crumbling into pieces.
Tang San stood weakly on the ground, his right arm, which had once held the Asura Demon Sword, now missing. The Asura Demon Sword lay discarded beside him. He didn't bother to retrieve it, as he knew that Huo Yu'er's attack had inflicted irreversible decay upon his body. Aging rapidly, his once handsome face now bore the wrinkles of old age, blending with his white hair.
Tang San, however, remained calm, as he had accepted his fate.
"This feeling of utter defeat... It's been a while," he murmured to himself, recalling memories of his previous life in the Tang Sect.
Despite her godly attire now torn and battered, Huo Yu'er, though bruised, stood as the ultimate victor.
Tang San met her gaze with calm eyes, speaking without fear.
"Kill me."
Without hesitation, Huo Yu'er raised her sword, releasing an attack that swept towards Tang San with the force of an unrelenting mountain.
He did not resist. As he faced the strike that would tear him to pieces, his eyes remained serene. Yet, almost involuntarily, in his final moments, memories of his life began to flash before him.
Recalling his time on the Douluo Continent, a trace of bitterness entered his eyes.
"How did I end up like this? I once valued my family above all else," he thought. "But there's no use regretting it now. My dispersed divine consciousness won't carry my memories forward. I just hope the new me will wake up to his errors and live peacefully with Xiao Wu, free from this obsession with power."
He closed his eyes, waiting quietly for the inevitable.
But the expected pain didn't come. Instead, he was overwhelmed by a familiar scent. Shocked, he opened his eyes, his voice trembling with disbelief.
"Xiao Wu!"
There, standing before him, was the familiar figure of his beloved, with her iconic scorpion braid. She had somehow escaped her prison as the battlefield's devastation shook the shrine's depths.
Without her divine status, Xiao Wu was merely a demigod. But during her captivity, Xiao Wu had come to a resolution. Watching Tang San on the brink of death, she knew her path forward.
"It doesn't matter anymore. Let me protect the one I love, even if I never open my eyes again. Perhaps my revival was a mistake all along."
With this final determination, Xiao Wu used a teleportation technique and followed it with Invincible Golden Body. Though these skills were insignificant against Huo Yu'er's power, her final blow hadn't been unleashed at full strength, giving Xiao Wu a slim chance to intervene. Xiao Wu's intervention succeeded, sparing Tang San's life.
However, Huo Yu'er's blow, even diminished, was still far beyond Xiao Wu's ability to withstand. Her form, sustained by divine power, began to crack and collapse, her essence disintegrating as she approached death.
Xiao Wu collapsed into Tang San's arms, her body fading as she caressed his face with a look of boundless love.
"It's okay, San ge... I protected you one last time."
"Xiao... Xiao Wu..." Tang San stared in disbelief, overwhelmed by the memory of another devastating loss from many years ago.
Before he could summon any divine power to save her, her body shattered completely, dissolving back into pure godly essence, disappearing from his world once and for all.

Chapter 639: Return
Tang San stood frozen, staring blankly.
Time had passed, and although he was filled with sorrow and despair, he no longer had the youthful fervor to cry out those two familiar words.
Huo Yu'er, unmoved by such sentimental displays, was entirely disinterested in this tragic scene. After learning from Ye Wen about Tang San's manipulations, and recalling Tang Wulin's own actions toward her, she felt only one desire to rid herself of this man once and for all.
Without hesitation, Huo Yu'er drew on her divine power, raising it to her level as a god king.
"This ends here!"
In a flash of blinding silver light, the small world within the Asura Shrine was sliced cleanly in two, and Tang San's form was obliterated, leaving nothing behind.
In those final moments, Tang San reflected on his life, realizing how deeply mistaken he had been.
If he hadn't been so consumed by schemes, if he hadn't let his greed drive him so far… perhaps he, too, could have glimpsed the broader universe, like the God of Destruction and the others.
Thus, the balance of power in the Divine Realm of Douluo was completely overturned.
Ye Wen, in both his original world and this one, found it somewhat astounding. Of all the divine realms and gods he had encountered, each deity had once been a remarkable figure, yet so many of them were trapped at the level of a Third Level God for ages, unable to break through. They were no more than lazy and foolish parasites.
Once the Douluo Divine Realm's resources were completely emptied, Ye Wen invoked his ultimate skill: Spatial Banishment.
With that, the Douluo Divine Realm created in the distant past by the Dragon God was erased from this universe. The 108 worlds tethered to it were finally freed, marking the dawn of a new journey.
Years later, Huo Yu'er inherited a wealth of divine knowledge from Ye Wen's original world, igniting a technological boom in this distant corner of the cosmos.
Finally, Ye Wen could look at her with satisfaction and say, "Xiao Yu'er, you've officially graduated. From here on, this world belongs to you."
Huo Yu'er, sensing the meaning in his words, lowered her eyes in reluctance.
"Master… must you really leave?"
Ye Wen nodded with a gentle smile, his gaze deep with emotion.
"Every person has a mission, and I have fulfilled mine here. If I were to intervene further, I'd be guiding this universe down the same path as my own. It wouldn't be a true evolution, and that's something neither this world nor I wish to see. You are, without a doubt, my most gifted disciple. Now, it's your turn to let your light shine."
Huo Yu'er remained silent for a long time, finally sighing in disappointment. She bowed to Ye Wen in respect.
"Master, thank you for your years of guidance. No matter where you are, I will never forget your teachings."
Ye Wen accepted her gratitude with a calm smile. Yet, after nurturing her all this time, how could he completely let go?
Raising his hand, he handed Huo Yu'er a crystal encoded with the coordinates of a star and information about his own dimension.
"Continue to grow stronger, Xiao Yu'er. When you have conquered this star, you will have earned the right to find me once again."
As she clutched the crystal, a gleam of joy crossed her eyes. She was about to ask him more details, but Ye Wen had already vanished.
"Master…" she whispered, feeling lost.
Yet her gaze soon grew resolute. She gripped the crystal tightly, as though it might disappear.
"I will find you, Master. Wait for me."
Returning to his own Douluo Star through the dimensional passage he had opened, Ye Wen's arrival sparked a profound transformation. The skies over Douluo Star became a radiant tapestry of colors, and the entire world underwent a small but significant uplift.
Watching this change from the highest point of the divine realm, Ye Wen allowed a smile to form.
"It seems my intuition was correct the key to Douluo Star's ascension lies in enriching its unique laws. Don't you agree, Xue'er?"
He turned to look at Snow Empress, who was seated nearby, exuding an aura of icy grace as she attuned herself to the plane.
She nodded in affirmation. "Indeed. You've worked hard for this, Ye Wen."
Ye Wen simply laughed off her courtesy.
"We're family; your good fortune is mine as well."
They exchanged a smile, their years of companionship understood in the smallest gestures.
However, Ye Wen sighed, sensing the challenges awaiting him in his own world.
With Douluo Star's expanding influence and ever growing roster of deities, the constant need for faith energy required more exploration to fuel this cycle of expansion. The Douluo civilization's territory was growing ever larger.
But with this progress came inevitable challenges. The universe was vast, and Douluo wasn't the only divine civilization. The threat from the Ōtsutsuki civilization had only been the beginning. Since then, Douluo's divine realm had encountered several smaller divine civilizations, which it had either annexed or subjugated, all without serious setbacks.
Yet gods are not omnipotent, and the Douluo Divine Realm had finally met a formidable adversary a unique civilization of dark gods known as the Celestial Demons.
Though this civilization, like Douluo and the Ōtsutsuki, drew its power from the innate essence and faith of celestial bodies, it had developed in a strange and eerie direction.
The Celestial Demons were masters of the soul arts. Fortunately, due to Ye Wen's interventions in the Absolute Divinity Realm, Douluo had gained the support of Electrolux, an unparalleled authority on souls. This advantage allowed the Douluo Realm to stand toe to toe with the Celestial Demons, avoiding any deadly disadvantages.
However, despite Douluo's edge in sheer divine power, conquering the Celestial Demons remained a challenge. Unlike typical gods, the Celestial Demons existed as unique soul entities, able to move between planes. Unless carefully contained, they were exceedingly difficult to kill.
Though Douluo's superior strength kept them at bay, Ye Wen knew that the conflict was far from over.
"Bring me the latest samples from the research division. It's time to analyze these creatures closely," he ordered, feeling a rare surge of excitement as he threw himself into the new battle ahead.

Chapter 640: The Ancestor of the Celestial Demons
Ye Wen's full return undeniably brought a renewed sense of strength and excitement. His remarkable leadership and scientific prowess over the millennia had won him the deep respect of all who dwelt on Douluo Star.
Before long, a peculiar figure was brought to him a being with a humanoid upper body and a lower half that dissipated into dark, swirling mist. This entity, a Celestial Demon, was bound head to toe in chains of shimmering golden light. Any attempt at resistance triggered the chains' punitive enchantments, sending bolts of golden lightning through the creature, which elicited sounds of torment.
Ye Wen, however, did not rush to act. Instead, he observed intently, and soon, several more of these spirit like beings were brought in. Each Celestial Demon had a distinct appearance, with unique head shapes, yet below the neck, they shared a humanoid form. None of these creatures had distinguishable facial features, as though their faces had been erased, leaving them all disturbingly faceless.
A first rank god and researcher brought a report summarizing the research conducted thus far, which Ye Wen scanned swiftly. As he absorbed the information, his expression grew increasingly serious.
Ye Wen had already known, from his clones' battles, how challenging these Celestial Demons could be, but reviewing the data firsthand underscored the daunting nature of their threat. Outwardly, the Celestial Demons appeared both male and female, but according to the research, they were all actually genderless.
This detail, however, was secondary; what mattered most were their abilities.
Ye Wen, whose power was near the peak of godhood, was largely immune to these effects. Yet, according to the findings, these beings, when entering a mortal world, could instantly distort the minds of lesser beings, awakening the darkest emotions and desires hidden within, and driving entire populations into madness like living embodiments of Lovecraftian terror.
Whenever the Celestial Demon civilization found its way into a world aligned with Douluo, it would almost always inflict devastating losses. Unlike the Otsutsuki Clan, who drained every world they encountered, Douluo thrived through gradual, sustainable growth and long term cultivation of faith.
The Celestial Demons, in contrast, did not senselessly destroy worlds. Rather, they exploited the darkness within mortal souls, drawing out the energy of suffering and turmoil, which they consumed to fuel their growth.
In combat, their most dangerous skill lay in using their soul weapons, which inflicted direct attacks on the souls of the gods, stirring up emotions and primal instincts, often driving weaker gods insane and causing them to lose control.
In such cases, the Celestial Demons had two options. The first was to directly consume the target's spirit, increasing their own strength. The second option involved their disturbing method of reproduction.
If a Celestial Demon opted for reproduction, they would fuse with the god they had overtaken, merging into a single entity. The Demon would then split into two, one being a clone of the consumed god, complete with their memories and past. This new being would carry the memories of their former self but would serve the mother entity with unwavering loyalty. Through this parasitic transformation, the Celestial Demons had managed to build their army, inflicting significant losses on Douluo's gods.
Thanks to Electrolux's expertise, Douluo was no longer overwhelmed in battle, but the challenge remained formidable.
These twisted reproduction methods led to the emergence of various demon clans, each with its own lineage. The civilization could be traced back to ten Celestial Demon Ancestors, each possessing power that rivaled the mightiest god kings.
After examining these details, Ye Wen could only marvel at the grotesque complexity of the Celestial Demon civilization and the immense challenge they posed.
Ye Wen's task now was clear develop weaponry specifically designed to counter the Celestial Demons.
Douluo's pantheon, in terms of sheer numbers and individual power, could rival the Celestial Demons, yet their unusual methods and unique structure left Douluo struggling to contain them. The Celestial Demons' unusual abilities, along with their parasitic replication, made them frustratingly difficult to defeat outright.
While Douluo's gods now had defenses thanks to Electrolux's guidance, his lower level god rank limited his ability to contribute more proactively. However, with Ye Wen at the helm, things would change.
With his research skills, Ye Wen quickly identified a solution. If the Celestial Demons relied on negative energy as their supernatural source, then Ye Wen would counter this by cultivating positive energy.
Celestial Demons were clearly not invincible, and their power, while bizarre, was not unassailable. To counter them, Ye Wen would gather energy specifically attuned to counter negative forces. And with Douluo possessing an actual God of Emotions, they had an innate advantage.
With Ye Wen's expertise and experience, Douluo quickly found an effective approach to combating the Celestial Demons.
A hundred years later, the tide of battle had shifted entirely. With the advent of weapons crafted to eradicate Celestial Demons, Douluo gained a clear advantage, initiating a sustained campaign against their foes.
Still, the feared Ten Celestial Demon Ancestors had yet to appear, which made the Douluo warriors at the front uneasy.
As this concerned two warring civilizations, Ye Wen, having completed his research, knew he couldn't remain on Douluo Star any longer.
The Supreme Vast Sea God King had arrived on the front lines!
He didn't need to give speeches or issue commands. His very presence alone was enough to elevate Douluo's morale to unprecedented heights.
And Ye Wen himself was intrigued, eager to test the strength of the Ten Celestial Demon Ancestors, each said to be as powerful as the top god kings.
Standing atop his grand vessel, the Hanhai, Ye Wen waited in anticipation. As the pinnacle of Douluo's might, the Hanhai was a towering beacon, radiating Ye Wen's vast divine aura throughout the stillness of space.
Then, suddenly, five terrifying bursts of demonic energy exploded near the Hanhai.
