Kaiba raised his arm to shield his face as his Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon shattered and dissolved under the onslaught of dragon-slaying sword intent. He let out a soft, dismissive "Tch" and remarked, "Hmph, a troublesome swordsman indeed."
"It seems that while Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon possesses resistance to battle destruction, it is helpless against effect destruction," Gozaburo said. "Before the Destruction Sword, the power of the Dragon race is utterly futile."
"Is that so?" Kaiba slowly drew another card from his hand. "You know nothing of the true power Blue-Eyes wields today. When a Level 8 or higher monster on my field is destroyed, I can Special Summon this card from my hand! Appear nowDeep-Eyes White Dragon!!!" (Anime Effect)
As if breaking through from a chaotic abyss, a brilliant white dragon surged into the sky, every scale shimmering like stars dotting the night sky. It let out a high-pitched, thunderous roar.

In the official card game, the summoning condition for Deep-Eyes was changed from "Level 8 or higher monster destroyed" to specifically a "Blue-Eyes" monster. The damage effect had also been modified; the physical card processed the summon and damage simultaneously,
whereas the original version triggered upon any successful summon. Furthermore, while the physical card only counted Dragons in one's own Graveyard, the anime version Kaiba was using included the opponent's Graveyard as well.
"There are currently six Dragons slumbering in my Graveyard, and yours contains the Dragon Buster Destruction Sword that was just sent there, making a total of seven Dragons. Therefore, Deep-Eyes White Dragon deals a total of 4,200 points of damage!"
Deep-Eyes White Dragon spread its magnificent wings, appearing as if it were unfurling the entire cosmos. Countless stars rained down like meteors, bombarding the field like artillery shells. This was Deep-Eyes' finishing blowif it connected, it would result in an instant kill!
"A fine counterattack, Seto. However, I have already arranged my duel and my strategies against you to be flawless," Gozaburo declared. "Counter TrapDamage Polarizer! It negates an effect that deals damage, and then both players draw one card!"
A defensive shield manifested before Gozaburo, catching the dense barrage of meteors from Deep-Eyes. Flames soared, but the damage was entirely blocked.
"So you blocked it," Kaiba muttered, drawing a card. "Then I activate the other effect of Deep-Eyes White Dragon. This card's attack power becomes equal to one Dragon monster in my Graveyard. It gains the attack power of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

"Keeping a counter for Deep-Eyes in your hand to stop my second wave? A decent move, Seto. But as I said, my formation is without weakness. My duel shall advance even further.
That previous Destruction Sword combination wasn't merely to destroy the Dragons on your field. As the cost for Buster Blader's effect, I discarded Dragon Buster Destruction Sword to the Graveyard. Now, I have a Dragon in my Graveyard as well."
Kaiba narrowed his eyes. "What are you plotting?"
"Are you feeling uneasy? You should be. Because now, the conditions are met to summon the ultimate swordsmanthe greatest trump card of this deck, and the worst possible nightmare for you and your Blue-Eyes."
Gozaburo raised his hand and shouted loudly.
"I activate the other effect of the Trap Card Destruction Sword Memories in my Graveyard! By banishing this card and the required materials from my Graveyard, I can perform a Fusion Summon for the ultimate Destruction Swordsman!"
"The ultimate Destruction Swordsman, hmph?" Kaiba's lips curled into a smirk. "Interesting."
"You won't be able to maintain that composure once you witness his power." Gozaburo raised his voice. "I banish the second Buster Blader discarded by Graceful Charity on the first turn, along with the Dragon monster Dragon Buster Destruction Sword,
to perform a Fusion! When the dragon-slaying hero and the power of the dragon unite, the ancient power of dragon-slaying shall awaken here to shake the earth! Fusion SummonBuster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!!!"
The fusion required a Buster Blader plus any Dragon monster. Only when it assimilated the power of a dragon did the dragon-slaying swordsman truly reach completion.
Waves of energy rippled out like a storm, and sword intent dominated the entire battlefield. Even the mighty Deep-Eyes trembled in the face of this power, its shimmering radiance dimming significantly.
The wind pressure from the blade tore through the air, and the sword's light seemed to split the heavens. The swordsman, evolved into his strongest form, descended while clutching a massive dragon-slaying greatsword.

"Still unmoved even now? Fine. Then I shall start by crushing your most prideful white dragon." Gozaburo gave the command. "Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman, attack Deep-Eyes White Dragon!"
The massive blade of the Destruction Sword struck out, its light seemingly carving through space itself. Before that dragon-slaying might, even Deep-Eyes could only leave the stage in powerlessness.
"Additionally, when the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman attacks a Defense Position monster, it deals Piercing Battle Damage equal to the difference between its ATK and the target's DEF," Gozaburo said in a low, heavy voice. "Take 9,800 points of piercing damage, and let this end here, Seto!"
"Is that so?" Kaiba said calmly. "Then I activate my Trap, Enchanted Javelin. When an opponent's monster declares an attack, I recover Life Points equal to that monster's attack power."

The sword light descended, and Deep-Eyes White Dragon vanished in a flash of white light. The domineering sword intent didn't lose its momentum, sweeping through Kaiba's form.

Kaiba's data-constructed body flickered and distorted from the blast, only recovering after a moment of jittering. Yet, throughout the entire ordeal, his expression never wavered. He stood his ground, a look of mockery even playing on his lips.
His face seemed to ask: Is that all?
"So you withstood it," Gozaburo noted. "However, in this instant, the effect of Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster on my field also activates. When a monster on the opponent's field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, I can equip that destroyed monster to this card."
He pointed toward Kaiba's side of the field. "Deep-Eyes White Dragon, become my power and equip yourself to the Destruction Swordmaster!"
The phantom of Deep-Eyes White Dragon emerged, its transparent form like a dragon's soul forcibly binding itself to the greatsword in the swordsman's hand.
"While the equipment doesn't increase his attack power, you should already know the rest. Once per turn, Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster can send an equipped monster to the Graveyard to destroy all monsters on the opponent's field of that same Type. In other words..."
"In other words, no matter what Dragon I summon next, as long as you send Deep-Eyes White Dragon to the Graveyard next turn, you can destroy them all. Is that it?" Kaiba said indifferently.
