"Even after meticulously studying my deck and preparing a specific counter like Buster Blader, is this all you can manage?" Kaiba asked with a look of pure contempt.
Gozaburo frowned.
"Your white dragon has already been crushed in a direct confrontation, and your Life Points are a mere 300a flickering candle in the wind," Gozaburo stated coldly. "Your win rate is now approaching zero."
"Is that so? Then how about a wager?" Kaiba replied. "I defeated you back in the orphanage, and after all these years, the ending will not change. Within the next turn, this duel and our long-standing grudge will both reach their conclusion."
"Interesting."
Gozaburo drew two more cards.
"Then show me, Seto. Show me how you intend to break through this situation. I set one card and end my turn."
"My turn, draw!" Kaiba shouted. "I set three cards face-down and activate the Spell card, Card of Demise! I draw from my deck until I have five cards in my hand, but I must discard my entire hand during the Standby Phase of my fifth turn."
Kaiba's signature card instantly and violently refilled his ammunition.
"From my Graveyard, I activate the Trap card, Breakthrough Skill!" Kaiba declared. "By banishing this card from the game, I negate the effects of one effect monster on my opponent's field until the end of this turn. I negate the effects of Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!"
A vortex opened in the Graveyard, and the Trap card flipped in mid-air, unleashing energy chains that surged toward the Dragon Destroyer.
"The card you discarded as the cost for The Melody of Awakening Dragon, I see... I understand now," Gozaburo nodded. "As long as you negate its monster effects, even its absolute suppression of the Dragon-Type becomes useless. However, as I told you, my preparations are flawless. Do you really think I didn't have a plan for such a simple response?"
Gozaburo waved his hand with equal arrogance.
"I activate the effect of the Trap card in my Graveyard, Destruction Sword Flashthe card I discarded to activate Destruction Sword Memories!"
"Oh?"
"You aren't the only one who can activate Traps from the Graveyard, Seto," Gozaburo sneered. "While Destruction Sword Flash is in the Graveyard and a Buster Blader monster I control is targeted by a Spell, Trap, or monster effect, I can banish this card to negate that activation and destroy it!"
He pointed at the spectral Trap card spinning on Kaiba's field.
"I negate the activation of Breakthrough Skill and destroy it!"
The tightening energy chains instantly shattered, and the image of the Trap card exploded into fragments. Kaiba merely snorted. "Hmph. If you weren't even capable of that much, you wouldn't be worth the effort of crushing."
He slapped another monster card onto his duel disk.
"I summon Exiled Force."

"By offering Exiled Force as a Tribute, I can destroy one monster on the field," Kaiba declared. "I destroy Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!"
The mercenary group swarmed forward like human bombs, rushing the Dragon Destroyer with the intent of taking him down with them in a suicidal blast.
"Then I activate the effect of the Trap card, Skill Prisoner, from my Graveyard!" Gozaburo showed no weakness. "By banishing Skill Prisoner from the Graveyard, I select one card on my field. This turn, any monster effects that target that card are negated. Naturally, I choose Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!"
Skill Prisoner took effect, forming a barrier that shielded the Dragon Destroyer. The mercenary group detonated themselves against the barrier, erupting into a brilliant display of fire and smoke, but they failed to leave even a single scratch on the shield.
"Buster Blader's absolute suppression only applies to the Dragon-Type; it has no innate resistance to other effects. While your deck relies on dragons as its main force, it is not entirely dependent on them," Gozaburo said, looking up at his opponent. "...Did you think I would overlook that and fail to prepare the proper counters?"
Kaiba ignored him, simply waving his hand.
"In that case, I activate my face-down card. The Spell card, Silent Doom! It allows me to revive a Normal Monster from my Graveyard in Defense Position. Rise once more, my radiant white dragonBlue-Eyes White Dragon, return!"

"Summoning Blue-Eyes again? But Buster Blader's attack power scales with the number of Dragon-Type monsters on your field and in your Graveyard. Reviving it changes nothing."
"Do you really think I'm concerned with something so tedious?" Kaiba roared. "Look closely! This is the true power of Blue-Eyes to shatter everythingthe Spell card, Burst Stream of Destruction! If I control a Blue-Eyes White Dragon, all monsters on your field are destroyed!"
The white dragon opened its maw, and endless light condensed into a massive orb of energy, ready to erupt with the force of a tidal wave!
"I see. Monster effects that target Buster Blader are negated this turn, but against a Spell that destroys the entire field, Skill Prisoner cannot protect it..." Gozaburo's eyes flashed with a sharp light. "But as I said, my formation has no weaknesses.
Did you think I hadn't accounted for this? Activate face-down card! Counter Trap: The Huge Revolution is Over! When a Spell, Trap, or monster effect is activated that would destroy two or more cards on the field, that activation is negated and the card is banished!"
He pointed at the Spell card in Kaiba's backrow.
"I negate Burst Stream of Destruction and banish it from the game!"
The storm ceased instantly, and the white light died down. The brilliance in the dragon's mouth dissipated, and the Spell card crumbled into golden dust before vanishing entirely.
"I told you, my current dueling is perfect. Do you understand a little better now, Seto?" Gozaburo asked. "Now, do you still have the audacity to claim you will end this duel within this turn?"
Kaiba remained unfazed. "Then I activate the Spell card, Dark Factory of Mass Production, to add two Normal Monsters from my Graveyard to my hand."
He pulled two cards ejected from his Graveyard.
"I return two more copies of Blue-Eyes White Dragon to my hand. And the next card I shall use is this one..."
He raised his arm high as a set card on his field flipped face-up.
"The Spell card, Polymerization! I fuse the three Blue-Eyes White Dragons from my field and hand! Behold the evolution of the strongest dragon, transcending three thousand years of timeNeo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, I summon you!!!"
The three white dragons were pulled into a swirling vortex of fusion, transforming into three pillars of white light. The pillars drew closer, merging and intertwining until they converged into a single point of blinding radiance,
painting a magnificent picture against the pitch-black backdrop of the void. The endless light bloomed, and from within it emerged the legendary ultimate of the Dragon-Type: Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!
