For a change, Max and Aaron were meeting in a coffee shop. However, the decision involved more than simply wanting different surroundings.
Although Dennis had most likely been the target of the attack, Max didn't want to assume that he was safe. He believed he had dealt with the most aggressive people seeking revenge against him, but there could still be others watching his movements.
Perhaps whoever had arranged the attack hadn't been aiming for Dennis alone. With both of them at the manor, it could have been an opportunity to eliminate two people at once.
Na was waiting in the car. With his professional training, he would be more likely to notice anyone following them or behaving strangely.
"Here are all the files I could gather on your parents," Aaron said.
He brought out several folders, each containing documents that had been carefully labelled and organised. Max could see how much work had gone into collecting the information before he opened the first one.
