Danso instinctively rushed up and attacked Hiroshi with a quick slice. Hiroshi dodged the attack mid-air and landed on the battleground as Danso followed suit. A rain of rocks and boulders fell down upon Fort Fjord as Hiroshi and Danso dodged them all and attacked each other with a fierce blade strike that caused sparks to dance around their blades.
Yetis started to break down the walls of Fort Fjord as Danso's attention for a split second was diverted towards them. He quickly ran towards a yeti and sliced the leg of a yeti and the mere size of the yeti made Danso seem like a kid. Hiroshi used this to his advantage, charging up a strong spell.
"Elemental Magic:- Lightning Bolt," said Hiroshi.
His hand started to glow in a bluish white matter as he launched towards Danso. Assuming this would happen, Danso quickly turned on Essence and dodged the attack. Essence would not only help to hide a person's soul by leaking it, it also improves the concentration of the mind and the technique of soul energy manipulation. This was a lesson that Yvette had taught him during their training.
Danso quickly retaliated by swinging his sword using Water Stance to create one strong blow that would buy him time to think. His instincts were starting to wear off and he could not use Essence forever to refresh his mind and concentration.
Multiple warriors rushed to the Yetis creating a strategic formation. The yetis fell for multiple traps that Auro had placed and the archers started to rain down arrows whose tips were coated with special toxins that could kill a yeti and infect its fur. Brutes started to swing their axes wildly and run towards certain death. Leonard, Alicia, and Cole were all fighting hordes at once and the size of the ongoing invasion was gigantic.
"Hiroshi…This…Is not the time for you to fight me!" said Danso panting as he dodged Hiroshi's attacks.
"My mission is to kill you," said Hiroshi.
Their faces reflected on each other's blades as the sound of metal clashing against each other and the aura that was leaking out of them both was starting to appear. Hiroshi pushed Danso backwards but Danso did not falter due to him quickly changing into Earth Stance then Hiroshi kicked Danso near the obliques and then grabbed his left leg before proceeding to flip him and roll him mid-air before smashing him down into the ground.
As Danso was about to smash hard into the ground he quickly used his Ritualistic Magic of Air to cushion his landing and restore his stance so he could continue fighting. He chanted silently to himself and then multiple gusts of wind started to come to him as he welcomed them softly. On Danso's palm multiple gusts, breezes, and vapor of air started to form as it became a big storm rolled into a ball.
As Danso was about to fall down into the ground he looked backwards to see Hiroshi before firing the miniature storm he had formed in his hands towards him. The spell followed past Danso's hand and towards Hiroshi with great speed before it collided into Hiroshi's armor, cracking it instantly and a vortex of wind swirling him and attacking him, causing him great pain.
Hiroshi did not relent from fighting after the attack. He regenerated himself with the basic Life/Death Magic Suzumi had taught him and spat out some blood.
"Not bad…Not bad," said Hiroshi.
Hiroshi started to view sparks surrounding his body as he realised what he had done. He used his magic in the Land of Aurora not once but twice! The recoil from his mistake was starting to form. The sparks started to get larger and larger as they started to rain down upon Hiroshi. The soul energy that is unconsciously released by a human is undetectable for the Aurora. He screamed in pain as the sound reverberated across the forest then he plopped down and fainted.
Danso rushed to Hiroshi's side even though they were enemies now flashes of memories of them scamming the Battle Restaurant, sitting on top of roofs and talking still made a big part of Danso's memories. One of the few good ones he had. Therefore Danso quickly called a medic and instructed her to take care of Hiroshi and to restrain his body, therefore in the chance he wakes up Hiroshi would not escape. Danso had a few questions he wanted to ask.
Danso rushed to help Leonard, Auro, Lucia, and Cole fight the rest of the yetis and after multiple attacks and teamwork they managed to repel and defeat the first wave of yetis.
"It will take sometime for the second wave to come…We should go help Everlin," suggested Leonard.
"He's Everlin, he should be fine," said Cole casually.
"He's fighting Alicia Paland! The Calamity of the Snow Kingdom, the sole survivor of the Blank Slate program, the one who managed to tie with Everlin in a fight, he might need some help, it wouldn't hurt" explained Auro.
"So Alicia is on par with Everlin? So is she as strong as Chiro? No, I doubt it, Chiro is the strongest," thought Danso.
"Then why don't only Danso, Leonard, and Cole go? They don't need any brute attacks from me since they got Danso and Leonard and trappers won't be required since this is not a planned event," suggested Lucia.
"Fine," said Danso as he turned his Essence on and started to detect the slightest of soul energy leaks to find Alicia and Everlin.
Meanwhile,
Everlin created a giant glacier with a wave of his hand and threw it towards Alicia. Meanwhile Alicia created a giant mirror and reflected the attack back to Everlin. The glacier started to get destroyed as it approached Everlin. Water vapor and dust started to clear as Everlin's silhouette was seen clearly.
Then Everlin's vision started to dim and after a second he was not able to see anything. The pitch black void was consuming his vision slowly.
"The reflection from your eyes, I stole it," said Alicia with a smirk.
Then she created a giant crystal gun that was shot straight towards Everlin. The echo of the bullet running through the fluid of air was heard as Everlin calmed down and quickly used Essence to dodge the bullet and the recoil. He quickly assessed his situation and managed to get his vision back after freezing Alicia's control over his eyes. His Stage One Ritualistic magic could allow him to do such matters.
"Ah yes, judging from the leakage of soul energy and shockwaves of attacks I'd have figured that you both would be here," said Lavenus.
Alicia and Everlin were exchanging blows that were reverberating the Earth and the fragments of snow crystals and mirror shards were scattered across the snowy forest covered ground. As they heard the sentence Alicia and Everlin paused and looked around to see Lavenus walking in his human form with his hands behind his back. A blizzard followed him as each step he took shrunk the temperature around them.
Everlin looked at Lavenus in horror as he quickly deflected Alicia's crystal hands and threw her away before secretly charging up an avalanche in his hand. A scene flashed in Everlin's mind.
The village in blue flames as dead bodies surrounded a wounded Everlin who sat on the ground and tried to crawl away until he saw a man. That man was Lavenus in his human form. Then another man threw a powerful death magic spell at Lavenus that caused the Stage 0 Disaster of the Frozen Everglades to suddenly fall down and die with immense pain and suffering.
"No one touches my son," said the man.
He wore a certain ring on his right ring finger with the letter Y. Then he walked towards Everlin and patted him in his shoulder. The man held the hand of the fallen Lavenus and placed his ring on the limp ring finger of Lavenus. Then Everlin fainted on the floor.
"What are these memories? My father?" asked Everlin as he started to hyperventilate.
"Everlin? You don't have a father? You're an adopted orphan," questioned Alicia in a puzzled tone.
Alicia got herself back to her feet and stood beside Everlin and looked at Lavenus who was standing there with an exotic sly smile. Lavenus raised his hand and at the palm of his hand a giant black beam started to form as his face started to crack and red light started to peek out of the cracks. Then he aimed it towards Everlin and Alicia instantly created a huge mirror that covered twice the space of a car and bounced the attack back to Lavenus.
"What is going on…" said Everlin.
Multiple memories started to flash as he saw a scene in the Blank Slate program with Alicia and then it shifted to a scene of him breaking out of the building as it was destroyed and seemed frozen, then it shifted to a person placing a ring on his finger.
Everlin started to go mad and started to mumble to himself. He held his hair with both his hands and started to shake. Alicia looked at Everlin and decided to worry about him later and instead sprinted at the speed of the 350 kilometers per hour and used the momentum she gathered and swung a large shinny hammer that was around twenty four feet tall on Lavenus but he just placed his hand above as if he was deflecting rain and it shattered.
Then he created another beam and this time Alicia teleported to the reflection of light from the beam therefore coming straight to his palm in an instant.
"Ritualistic Magic of Mirrors:- Reflectionistic Shard," said Alicia as she placed a mirror straight to Lavenus's palm.
The attack bounced back and hit Lavenus which caused him to go back a few steps. Alicia noticed that the more Lavenus used dark magic the more he started to lose consciousness as if a parasite was consuming him. She had met Lavenus only once and that was during a peace treaty that had occurred when she was a child, the Blank Slate program started to create a weapon that could beat the Stage 0 Yeti.
More cracks started to form on Lavenus's body as he soon started to deteriorate. The result of this sudden crack and deterioration of a soul would end in certain death with the soul dissipating into the atmosphere. And since it is a Stage 0 soul the Aurora aftermath will mean certain death and major damage.
"Suicide bomber…" cursed Alicia under her lips as her mind started to race.
Alicia quickly created multiple mirrors that were giant to protect herself. Her mirrors were indestructible so she hoped it would block the recoil of Lavenus's actions.
A lightning bolt that sparked fire on the cold ice. Danso and the rest of the warriors entered the scene. The sparks were surrounding the area. Normally the Aurora would only punish the people who used soul energy but for massive quantities it would repel from the person and throw it onto the surroundings creating a natural disaster.
Danso realised this and quickly halted Cole and Leonard. Then he looked at Lavenus's hand as he saw a ring.
With the letter Y.
"Xeno?" thought Danso as he looked at the mad Everlin on the ground.
If he did not do anything the recoil from the Aurora would kill Everlin instantly! Then, surprisingly Leonard also realised the situation and sprinted towards Everlin. As Danso saw this he left Cole behind and followed Leonard. He switched to Earth Stance to take on any recoil that would happen.
"Stage 8 Ritualistic Magic of Air:- Wind Currents," said Danso as a current picked up Leonard and repelled him away towards Cole as Danso repelled himself closer to Everlin.
Leonard screamed 'No!' and Danso ignored him. He used 'Wind Current' again and pushed Everlin far away from Lavenus and sent him near Leonard and Cole.
"He took care of us! Now it's our turn to take care of him and make sure nothing happens to Leonard and Cole!" said Danso as he smiled towards them
Then Alicia created a mirror barrier surrounding the estimated area of the explosion to prevent any more damage outside the area.
"Can't we send him far away and make the recoil occur there?" asked Danso in Laxasian.
Alicia was puzzled and smirked at Danso's bad Laxasian before replying back in Laxasian.
"It's too late for that, the Spark Storm is already forming," said Alicia.
A box fell down from the sky. It was not really a box but it looked oddly similar to Danso. Alicia gasped as she realised what it was.
"An Alkanium Soul Beast Cage," said Alicia and Danso at the same time.
Danso quickly took a few steps back while Alicia tightened the grip around her staff. Then an Anti-Sorcery Key stabbed the heart of the cage letting out a violent array of colors as the sparks started to become more and more intense. Their vision got blurry due to the amount of fog the Alkanium Soul Cage produced and the sparks.
Then a silhouette formed up above riding multiple hoverboards, Ozamu, Nicole, Natsuki, Emily, and Tensei all appeared. They all landed and Danso looked at them as his eyes widened at the surprise.
The silhouette became more and more clear as a tall man, who was bulky with hazel brown eyes appeared scratching his head. Alongside him on the floor there were two people who were easy to deduce. Takahashimi and Suzumi Hokage.
"Ahhh this was expected yet unexpected," said Chiro as he took his first steps back into the real world.
"Chiro Zanami? The man who single handedly stopped the Great War and the Northguard City conflict?" thought Alicia as she admired Chiro.
"Danso! Don't worry about the Spark Storm! Ozamu and Chiro will take care of it," screamed Haruki from up above.
Only the Soul Beast Cage was able to pass the mirror barrier due to Emily's Playbox ability. She felt the sparks sting her very existence. She was against the idea of destroying the mirror barrier since it is a protective measure and it was transparent, letting them see what was going on inside.
Danso looked at the parasitized Takahashimi and quickly pulled the Anti-Sorcery Key and slightly scared his left shoulder to remove the effects of Xeno's Avatar. Chiro quickly turned on Taurus Wall as the sparks increased with Chiro merely existing in the Land of the Aurora.
Then all the sparks collided creating a massive explosion and Chiro used this explosion to his advantage making Xeno, who was still in Suzumi's body, get hurt even more causing him to faint. Xeno quickly changed avatars.
The sparks subsided as the mirror barrier also fell and the surroundings looked destroyed and unable to be rebuilt. It looked as if the Earth shook and an egg broke with a hammer.
Chiro detected Xeno's soul now in a person who was away from this situation and near two people. He approached Danso.
"Take those 2 people away from that madman," said Chiro.
"Why? Are you alright? How have you been," asked Danso as the rest of the DMMS flew down and landed.
"Not now Danso! If that madman awakens…It'd be a true issue," said Chiro.
Danso quickly signalled to Leonard and Cole to come over to him and as they were running towards Danso…A ice spike ran through both their bodies as they plunged into the watery ice. Blood tainted the crystal clear ice and dew of the grass as Danso's eyes and mouth widened.
"Danso! Run!" screamed Chiro as he put his arm to block him and the DMMS members from going anywhere near Everlin.
Everlin grabbed his hair and stripped it from his head causing blood to leak from his head. He started to go mad.
"Ahh this will be complicated," said Chiro with a sigh.
The word 'Danso' was the final trigger for Xeno's avatar parasite to take over Everlin's body. The first trigger was Lavenus's appearance which he has mental trauma with that caused him to lose control.
All of this was carefully planned by Xeno to make sure he had the highest chance of victory. Yet, all that planning did not work and will never work if your opponent is none other than Chiro Zanami himself.
Suddenly a strong force was detected by Chiro's Virgo Analyst and he blocked an attack with his left hand deflecting it.
Alan Normal entered the battle and looked for Nicole as she was standing safely meaning that nothing happened to her. Alan's body was surrounded by sparks and defied them by using his ability of Gravity.
"Why are you here? Alan Normal," asked Chiro.
"Why are you here? Chiro Zanami?" asked Alan.
They both gave each other tensed stares.
"Is it because of 'that' God Pact?" asked Chiro.
"Yes, it looks like she is fine though and I came here for no reason," said Alan disappointed.
Chiro ignored Alan and walked towards Xeno who inhabited Everlin's body. He picked him up and beat him straight to the ground causing blood to vomit out of his mouth.
"Xeno…Be grateful I can't kill you here but that doesn't mean I can't murder this avatar." said Chiro
Chiro blew Everlin's head apart as Xeno switched bodies.
