After Danso and the rest of the DMMS reunited and the Raid on Fort Fjord concluded, Chiro Zanami made sure that the Fort was removed and honored Everlin's wishes to make sure the Snow Kingdom does not ever intrude into the territory of the Frozen Everglades again. Nicole, Natsuki, Danso, Emily, Haruki, Chiro, Tensei, Ozamu, and a weakened Takahashimi all made their way to the veiled village while carrying the dead bodies of Cole and Leonard that were neatly wrapped in leaves and cloth while burying Everlin in the place he died. Chiro did not want to take any risk with a Xeno avatar.
Alan Normal and Alicia Paland went to investigate the Yeti territory and report back to their respective governments and kingdoms.
Upon approaching the Veiled Village they came across multiple slayed yetis which raised their suspicion on any fatalities that might have occurred in the village therefore they sprinted and tried to reach the village quicker. Once they reached the village it was obvious that nothing major had happened to it and that the men that were left behind were more than enough to deal with the waves of attacks that had happened.
While they travelled from the Fort to the Veiled Village no words were spoken and the silence among them filled the air making it slightly tense. Danso's mind was rushing with questions while battling grief over Leonard and Cole's untimely deaths.
"Who is Everlin? Is he really the Son of Xeno? Who is Xeno? What is his past? How is Xu connected with Xeno? How is Lavenus and the yetis connected with Xeno? What plans did Xeno make in the Barren Wastelands and what would I have done if the God of Sages didn't intervene? What is Xeno's real goal?" thought Danso as he walked.
As they entered the Veiled Village multiple people surrounded them wondering who they were carrying. Danso with a heavy heart left the bodies in front of Leonard's and Cole's family's house and said no words. Chiro dealt with the crowds speaking fluent and precise Ancient Glassician and Emily noticed Danso's sadness and guilty mood. Danso quickly left for the hospital or clinic to meet a friend.
"You should do something about that," whispered Natsuki to Emily.
"I'll see later," said Emily.
Nicole, Emily, and Natsuki got a big hut that was enough to accommodate the three of them while Tensei and Haruki had a smaller hut that was enough for the both of them. They all rested and planned on catching up and returning to Akuza the day after tomorrow. Chiro made his way to Yvette's hut.
Chiro gently knocked the door before entering the unlocked house.
"Am I intruding?" asked Chiro as he cautiously walked.
Yvette walked in from the kitchen as Chiro noticed something off about her. Chiro discreetly turned on Virgo Analyst to analyse Yvette's soul. Chiro was actively disobeying Aurora's wishes and decided to do something about the sparks. While walking to the Village Chiro tested out his Gemini Adaptability to see if he could adapt to the sparks. The answer was yes.
"Ah, I know who you are and I know why you came here," said Yvette gently before taking a seat and imploring Chiro to do the same.
Chiro also took a seat at Yvette's wishes.
"Is Everlin your son?" asked Chiro.
"No, he's adopted. I found him as a reject after he got thrown out of the Blank Slate Program and the place where he got thrown into before I found him…Near Lavenus," explained Yvette.
Chiro's eyes widened. Yvette was not human, instead she was an Elf! It was thought that all the elves went extinct during the Northguard City Massacre. Her soul was an elvish soul but her body was a human body.
"Xeno must have wiped the memories and transmigrated Yvette's soul with the help of a 5th Dimension being…Could it be the Xu I met in the Soul Beast Cage?" thought Chiro.
"Do you remember how you came to the Frozen Everglades? Don't you feel sorrow that the son you raised is now dead?" asked Chiro.
He left out the part that he killed Everlin himself to drag more answers out of Yvette.
"I don't…Remember anything before the time I found Everlin," answered Yvette.
"Do you know who Xeno is?" asked Chiro.
As Chiro asked the question multiple devilish marks started to appear around the room as his hands and body started to burn with a special soulfire. He quickly adapted to the fire using Gemini Adaptability and looked around the hut.
"His name must not be spoken near this lady," said a deep voice coming from the sky.
Time itself looked as if it was frozen as it was only the deep voice and Chiro speaking to each other. Chiro had been brought into a pocket dimension by a 6th Dimension being!
"Who are you then?" asked Chiro.
"Previous Arch-Angel of Fire, The Exiled One, The King of Noir Blood, The Mortal who murdered a God, and the Founder of Black Magic…Diablo,"
"A six-name honorific!" thought Chiro as he stayed calm.
"You are strong…Extremely strong for a mortal so I am leaving you off with a warning," said Diablo.
"You look weak right now…Sealed by God of Demons probably?" mocked Chiro.
Diablo's aura increased as the room became more intense and then suddenly disappeared.
"Excuse me, what did you say?" asked Yvette as time looked to be running normally again.
"Nothing…It was a pleasure thank you," said Chiro before leaving the hut.
Chiro analysed the DMMS's strengths and wondered if they were enough to stop a threat such as Diablo when he is unsealed or even Xeno who is clearly garnering help from high dimensional beings. Tensei is now a bishop, Chiro thought he could use Tensei to learn more about the 5th dimension and the 6th dimension. Even though his Soul Well evolved into a Berserker Core Tensei did not teleport to the Realm of Souls. That was a puzzle for Chiro to solve.
Awakening without Ascending.
Chiro pondered for a minute. Maybe for every dimension they ascend they get a new title? So right now he would have four titles, but what would they be? Chiro looked at the sky.
In the Hospital.
The Veiled Village's hospital was different from the one in Rein. It was an open door with shades placed above and emergency rooms here and there. The technology and equipment were not as developed and it looked like a barrack.
Suddenly it seemed as if time stopped as Danso got dragged into a space above the sky. He panicked and looked around trying to figure out what was going on and on a cloud there were two chairs and a table with tea.
"Good Evening!" said the God of Sages in his happy mood.
Danso floated his way across the heavy clouds and empty dark sky as he sat on the chair.
"Hello?" asked Danso.
"Danso, I called you here because from now on things will not be the same," said the God of Sages.
"What do you mean? After the Xeno mess is done there will be no reason for me to interfere with the higher dimensions," explained Danso.
"Yes but they will interfere with you," said the God of Sages.
"Why? What have I done?" questioned Danso.
"You are a vessel. Your existence was created so that the lost soul of Xu can revive inside you. That's what the seals are. Now since the fourth seal is missing you can still be Danso Narahara," explained the God of Sages.
"Yes I've noticed that I am a vessel, but if my guess is right Xu must be a 6th Dimension being for him to create a fake Xu as a backup vessel," said Danso bluntly.
The scheme about Xu reviving inside him was a shock but he had expected this ever since he deduced he was a vessel. It made sense why he did not have parents.
"Yes he is. His past is confusing and Xeno's past is even more. I suspect Xu and Xeno but fought and lost everything and Xeno prayed to Diablo for a way to kill Xu after their fallout. Then Diablo planned out Xu's death by ascension to a Demi-God of the Black Emperor God and then sealed Xeno to be awakened when you entered the Burning House and your soul was fermented," explained the God of Sages.
"Diablo…He seems to be behind everything," said Danso.
"Yes, after Xu's death and the teachings of Black Magic to mortals, the Black Emperor God got furious and made the God of Demons banish and seal him. He is using Xeno as a way to unseal him. The worst case situation is Diablo is using Xeno as a vessel like how you are a vessel for Xu," explained the God of Sages.
"How do you know all this?" asked Danso.
"I researched and spoke to multiple people…This is my theory based on all of the answers I've heard," said the God of Sages.
"Thanks…This information helps me a lot," thanked Danso.
"Normally you aren't as grateful," laughed the God of Sages.
"I've always wondered…Why do you help me so often?" asked Danso.
"I told you already…My Holy Core and God Aspect of Enlightenment all divine that you will help me to regain the true God of Sages with his memories back again," said the God of Sages.
Danso laughed. "I guess I am your savior,"
"Ah, another thing. In case any Demi-Gods, Arch-Angels, Arch-Demons come to kill you, use my honorific as protection," said the God of Sages.
"What is it? Do I also have honorifics?" asked Danso.
"Everyone has honorifics, it depends on what dimension you are in. If you're a sixth dimensional being then you will have six honorifics," explained the God of Sages.
"What is yours?" asked Danso.
"The Sage of Enlightenment, The Beacon of Divinity, The Guru of a Billion Men, The Holy Ruler of the Golden Crown, The Lord of Light, King of Messiahs, and the God of Sages," said the God of Sages.
"If the God of Sages is your title then what's your real name?" asked Danso.
"When you ascend to the 7th dimension I'll tell you," teased the God of Sages.
"What is mine?" asked Danso.
The God of Sages opened his third eye and looked inside Danso's Soul Well. It felt extremely weird and it was a feeling Danso could not express with mortal words. The God of Sages's third eye started to burn when he read the final honorific.
"It's…Complicated. I'll tell you later! I have to leave now goodbye!" said the God of Sages.
He rushed away as Danso was sucked back into the hospital and the chairs and table magically disappeared.
"What was that?" laughed Danso.
In a Black Palace where the walls were made with hardened ash and black marble and outlined with white substances made with bones. Upon the throne sat the Black Emperor God with his Holy Core radiating black ashes and he held his trident that was scaly and filled with spikes. His black armor looked as if it was a part of his body with his head covered with a black medieval helmet and the eyes could not be seen through the holes of the helmet.
"The God of Sages violated your pact and told the Vessel of Xu about everything," said a skeleton that kneeled in front of him with his head low.
The Black Emperor God let out exotic breaths and sighed before he responded.
"The mortal has potential to be 'Him' as well…I'd rather him become the vessel of my son! Demi-God of the Black Emperor God! Rather than the risk of him becoming 'Him'," said the Black Emperor God cautiously.
