Charles glanced at her and said, "You are a little prettier than she is." "Pardon me?" Naomi asked in puzzlement.
"Naomi, why are you wasting your time explaining things to him? I have told you that there was no need to apologize to this ungrateful shrew," Nora muttered angrily while standing behind Naomi.
Naomi smiled in embarrassment at Zoey. She then turned to look at Nora and said sternly, "Nora, please don't be rude. Otherwise, I will be mad."
"But Naomi..." Nora whined. She respected her cousin, even though she was still upset. She then asked, "Can I not apologize?"
