"I suppose you could say fate has a strange sense of timing." James gave a small self-deprecating laugh.
When Gray heard it, he also let out a small laugh, "Maybe it does."
"James spoke rather highly of you after your phone conversation." Harold nodded in agreement.
"I mean, you even offered to video call just so I'd know you weren't trying to scam me." James scratched the back of his head at that. "I've been getting too many scam calls these past few months, so I was cautious."
"I suppose that's one way to make a good first impression." Gray smiled at it.
"So before we discuss numbers..." Harold folded his hands together. All of a sudden, his eyes became filled with so much curiosity."
"I'd like to ask you something."
"Of course." Gray nodded.
Harold looked directly at him.
"Why this building? You know, there are bigger cities out there that surely have better places than this one."
