Within moments, the Winged Tiger was beaten black and blue by the members of the Royal Guards.
Alex thought that it would be a waste to kill this rare monster, so he decided to have it subjugated and brought back to the palace. If it could be tamed, they would gain a new ally.
Though since he still planned to head south to investigate, he ordered a few of his men to return to the palace with the Winged Tiger, leaving the majority of the Royal Guards to guard him.

Nessia was groaning in her sleep, while the healers were tending to her injuries.
Alex didn't know what kind of suffering she had endured along the way. But now that they had been reunited, he would make sure that Nessia wouldn't get hurt any longer.
An hour later, the young lady finally regained consciousness.
"Are you feeling fine, Nessia?" Alex asked.
