A little bun made its call before swinging down from a tree branch using a vine.
Behind it, dozens of monkeys followed suit.
It was an odd sight. A little bun leading a bunch of monkeys like a pack leader. Well, for Dim Dim, this was as natural as breathing.
Even back in the academy, it had also befriended the monkeys who enjoyed throwing stuff just as much as it did.
Dim Dim had been separated from Alex after they entered the Challenge of the Hermit.
While Nessia was sent to the south of the kingdom, Dim Dim had found itself on its western border.
Dim Dim could vaguely sense Alex's location, so it started heading toward the north.
Along the way, it befriended several monkeys, who enjoyed eating its dim sums. In their world, the one who provided food was king, so they treated the little bun as some sort of leader. So when Dim Dim decided to leave, they all accompanied it on its journey.
