Sophie Smith heard Asher Land's footsteps leaving. She rummaged through the simple wardrobe and wrapped a towel around herself, stepping barefoot on the cold floor. Luckily, the office's heating was strong. Otherwise, she would have frozen.
She tiptoed towards the break room door, peeking out to find the office empty. Only then did she breathe a sigh of relief.
The door was closed, so Sophie didn't think much of it and walked out of the break room. She had seen Asher take out the clothes. Damn it, where on earth did he put them?
Surely, he didn't take my clothes out of the office, right?
Asher's office was spacious, but there were few places to hide things. Sophie searched behind the curtains, in front of the bookshelf, everywhere, but saw no trace of her clothes.
