Nie Jinglin did not think much of it, for years now, whenever he and Shuangshuang received even the slightest news about their son, they would go out searching, and upon returning, they would always ask each other about the results.
So Nie Jinglin assumed Shuangshuang's question was routine. He shook his head preemptively with a sigh of disappointment, "Still no news. I have asked several newly-acquainted friends to help keep an eye out for your brother's whereabouts. If there is any news, I will go and check immediately."
Shuangshuang nodded, "You have never stopped looking for brother all these years. With such sincerity, surely one day we will find him, and our family will be reunited."
Nie Jinglin sighed, a bitter smile on his face, "Let's hope so."
