Iris Harris nodded, "Alright."
Her office faced north to south, and at this moment, the sunlight was shining in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a faint golden layer on the white floor, giving it a clean and solemn look.
Brandan lowered his gaze to observe her expression. Seeing a hint of joy dancing at the corners of her brows, he realized she was very satisfied with the office, which made him quite happy as well.
In the past, he didn't think much of those men who went out of their way to please their lovers, feeling they were making too much out of nothing. Just a woman, so why be so invested?
Only now that he truly liked someone did he understand the meaning behind their actions.
