Iris Harris curled up in the blanket, calling his name.
"Sleep."
She softly called his name, her tone gentle.
Brandan Hyde was a bit angry, lifted the blanket, and looked at her face.
Brandan felt the sound of his rationality collapsing.
He turned over swiftly, pressing her beneath him. Iris Harris looked at his fierce expression, a trace of panic flashed in her eyes, then saw Brandan Hyde lean down, whispering in her ear word by word, "If I don't teach you a good lesson tonight, it would truly be an affront to that mouth of yours!"

She gently rubbed her little face against his chin, her voice whiny like a kitten's, "Can you let me sleep, please?"

Iris Harris ignored him, closed her eyes, and fell asleep.
