Qiao Mo nodded, her fingertips lightly brushing over his desk: "He's been gone for about a week, right."
"Mm, yes, more than a week now."
Qiao Mo looked at the desktop, utterly clean without a speck of dust on it. Her fingertips slide over it without picking up any dirt, indicating either someone is cleaning it daily, or he never left the country at all.
Qiao Mo's gaze swept across a coffee cup on the desk, half-filled with strong coffee. Though cold, it was enough to prove that this place wasn't cleaned daily.
Otherwise, why was the table so clean, yet the used cup remained unwashed?
Zhuo Lin evidently noticed what Qiao Mo was observing and seemed a bit nervous.
When Qiao Mo raised her gaze, she met his slightly flustered eyes.
She smiled at him gently, and Zhuo Lin immediately forced a smile, more miserable than a crying face.
Qiao Mo didn't ask further, speaking softly, "Then I'll be going now."
