[3rd POV]
"Your mother tells me that you can plan a good prank, is that right?" Death asked the duo, while Amity was finishing up the final bits of her morning chores. She always tended to finish them before anyone else, thanks to her focusing more on her work than Milim and Naruto.
Amity was pretty sure that they had some form of ADHD, maybe Charka or magic ADHD?
She wasn't sure.
"And who wants to know?" Milim asked with narrowed eyes, not wanting her secret to be out, while Death chuckled.
"Me, I want to prank my dear brother, Destruction" Death replied, making Milim and Naruto blink in confusion as they looked at each other and then back at her.
"How are we supposed to prank Destruction? Not only that, but how would we even sneak up on him to do any sort of pranking? Isn't all of your family like...omniscient?" Naruto asked, confused on how that would even work.
"I'll take care of that part, Naruto. Us Endless have the ability to cloak ourselves from each other, at least within reason. And we can extend that cloaking to others nearby, including you and your sister" Death explained, as the two once again glanced at one another.
"And won't Destruction get angry at us for pranking him? Cause he's...you know, destruction?" Milim asked, as even she knew that fucking with a member of the Endless was not even remotely a good idea.
It was an absolute death wish.
Death chuckled "No, dear. My brother is far kinder than mortals would think for someone that embodies destruction itself. No, he'd never do anything against you over a simple prank. Not to mention the fact that your mother would obliterate him from existence if he dared to try anything" Death replied, knowing that Wanda was one of the few beings out there that could easily wipe out all of the Endless by herself.
The only other ones that Death knew of, was Lucifer, Gabriel, Michael, and the creator himself. Those four could easily wipe them out, with Lucifer and the Creator having the most ease.
Including Wanda, she would have the second easiest time at wiping them from existence. But Wanda was kind of a walking cheat code at this point, so it was not even fair to include her in those conversations anymore.
It was unfair to everyone else that was involved.
"Okay...but what do you even want to prank him with? It's gotta be big if we're doing it to someone like him. Something long lasting that he can't just get rid of from his body" Naruto responded, a hum leaving him as several ideas formulated in his mind. None of them were particularly crazy, and none of them were just easily done.
"Well, I was thinking of something that could directly effect his concept, which is possible given the right circumstances and prank. Maybe something like large bursts of destruction makes a fart sound, or something like that. Goofy, but not too much to accidentally cause problems throughout the multiverse" Death explained, as Naruto and Milim glanced at each other at the idea.
Directly pranking a literal concept was an entirely new level of pranking that neither of them had ever known was even possible. But, they should have expected it at this point, with how their mama was and how strong she had become at this point.
"Um...can't Destruction literally hear us talking about this? It's not like he's standing that far away from us, and he's a nigh omnipotent entity so it would only make sense that he is listening to everything we are saying right now" Naruto asked, realizing that Destruction was not all that far from him, and could easily be listening to every word.
"Oh don't worry about that, he has not been listening in on anything, that much I can guarentee" Death replied, denying the idea of her brother listening. There was not a singular chance in hell that that was possible.
Not when there was herself and Wanda there. The wards that saturated the new bedroom, as it had charged them like a boulder to crush them into the depths.
"...So what level of a prank do you want? Like, you said you want it to directly effect his concept on a small level, but what sort of prank do you want? Something dumb like a fart sound or something a bit more interesting?" Milim asked, as if she was talking of important business.
In her mind she was.
"I'll leave that up to the both of you. Whether or not it's a stupid and goofy prank, or something a bit more meaningful. As long as the prank itself is not causing too many problems with his concept, and is funny, I don't mind" Death replied to her question with a smile, already having confidence in the two of them.
"Hmm, alright, I think we can come up with something. But if you want it to be really really good, then it'll take a little while. Masterpieces need time, afterall" Milim replied after a few moments of thought, and a silent conversation with her brother who agreed with her words.
Wanda was of course watching and listening to all of this, and was trying not to laugh at the little interaction. She decided that it was adorable, and hoped that it would continue on longer, but it soon had ended, with Death promising to come back to talk about the prank some more. While the kids had promised to show her the prank when she did eventually come back.
Whenever that was going to be. She had said in around a week or so, but who knows with her.
After that, Death returned to the counter.
"Your kids are adorable" Death said as Wanda chuckled.
"Yes, yes they are. I am tempted to ask about that little conversation, but I think that'd be boring so I'll leave you be. Now, is there anything you are here for or is that it?" Wanda asked, which got a shake of Death's head in response.
"Nope, just here for that and to see what my brother was here for, and now that I know what he was here for, it's time I head back home and get back to work" Death replied with a shake of her head, as she soon said her goodbyes to Wanda and the children, and left the shop.
After a bit longer, Destruction had walked back up to the counter. He had around three dozen books with him, pretty much all of them being on the concept of destruction, destruction based magics, and some other interesting stuff that Wanda was sure he would love.
"I knew you'd grab books based on your concept, but I didn't think you'd grab 38 of them. You sure you don't want to get books on anything else?" Wanda asked, raising an eyebrow at everything he had grabbed.
"I'm sure. I'd like to learn about how other universes describe me and think of me. I think it'll be interesting to learn about their beliefs and understanding of what Destruction truly is" Destruction replied to her with a small smile on his face, as he placed all of the books onto the counter.
"Alright, you'll have to let me know how you feel about their beliefs about you" Wanda replied, as she began to tally up the prices. The price for the entire collection of books was not that bad, and Destruction looked a little surprised about the price.
"Isn't that too cheap?" Destruction asked, wondering why it was so cheap.
"Hmm? No, that's the price. I charge what it's truly worth, nothing more nothing less. Now, are we doing cash, card, trade or something else?" Wanda said, with Destruction humming and reaching into his pocket.
He brought out a small black and red book that Wanda looked at with interest.
"Is this enough?"
It was a book on destruction magic, very very very ancient destruction magic, "Primordial" Destruction magic at that. It was some of the most powerful destruction magics there was in all of the multiverse, and all copies of the book had been destroyed.
Besides this one.
Wanda looked back up at Destruction and nodded "That is more than enough. Would you like to grab more books to pay for the rest of it, or keep the left over amount as credit for when you come back in the future?"
"I'll save it for later, thank you, Miss Maximoff. I'll make sure to return again soon, and perhaps bring one of my other siblings with me" Destruction said with a small smile, as he gathered his books and soon left.
Looking back down at the book that Destruction had traded her, Wanda had only one thought on her mind.
'I wonder what books the other Endless have?'
